Dr. Naskar is a good human being who gives a patient hearing to all your problems. Accurate diagnosis, prescribing the appropriate medicines and following up on old ailments are some of his characteristic traits. I am immensely benefited under his treatment.

Dr Subrata Naskar is a very good doctor who will listen to you patiently. When I approached him with my problems, he went down to the grass root level and diagnosed and cured it effectively and efficiently. He has a pleasant behavior and I am totally satisfied with his treatment.

Keshav, my 16 years old son, who was suffering from psychic issues post Covid-19 during the first fortnight of October '20, finally attempted to commit suicide in September '21. I am a teacher and voracious reader. I knew that a suicidal attempt is often followed by further attempt(s), finally culminating into a successful suicide. Perhaps the readers of this review can feel the intensity of anxiety, stress and agony I was passing through. Fortunately, I got Dr Subrata Naskar at I-NK. He encouraged me to narrate the entire case history comfortably, listened to me with empathy and patience, and noted down all the relevant points on prescription. Once I finished my details, he convinced me that suicide is 100% preventible, that suicidal tendency is simply a disease like any other physical disease and that my son's suicidal tendency would be fully cured. He advised me that my son would need just one month's stay at the hospital IPD along with me as his attendent because he is a minor. His soft, sympathetic, confident words brought immense solace to my soul in anguish. I followed his advice without a second thought. To see my son, he visited the IPD everyday along with Dr Chakraborty. Dr Anirban Ghosal at I-NK, as referred by Dr Naskar, looked after the neurological aspect. Sometimes Dr Altaf Hussein also accompanied Dr Naskar and Dr Chakraborty. The 10 to 4, official presence of Dr Amit Jain at IPD is a big thing. Dr Anindita is an excellent cousellor. The nursing staff at IPD, male and female alike, are all conscientious; they took utmost care of my son. The food served is wholesome, varied and delicious. The gatekeepers and cleaners are alert and well-behaved. The reception staff are very cooperative. And lo! What a bold declaration! What a precise measuremrnt! Exactly on the 31st day Doctor Saheb discharged us during Navratra. My son has been saved. He is free from any suicidal tendency now. He is re-living a normal life. Words that exist are not enough to express my gratitude to allopathic advancements in psychiatric care, Dr Naskar, Dr Ghosal, Dr Chakraborty, Dr Jain, Dr Anindita, nursing staff, reception staff, gatekeepers & cleaners, I-NK, and last but not the least Dr R P Senguptata (Founder of I-NK and reputed as the 'Neurosurgeon of the Millenium' he is practising in the UK). Blessed are the Mothers that give birth to a noble Dr. Naskar and those like him serving humanity at I-NK or anywhere else on earth. ?? NB : 1. I-NK is a non-profit organisation. With all the exquisite facilities in the heart of the city it's not expensive. 2. Doctors at I-NK stand for simplicity, nobility and expertise ultimate. One can learn from them the art of living. 3. I would like to call I-NK the 'NIMHANS of North India'. Given the presence of I-NK with great doctors like Dr Naskar, Dr Chakraborty, Dr Ghosal, Dr Praveen and many more, North Indians need not go to South for neuropsychiatric, neurological, neurosurgical and neuro-rehabilitational care. (With utmost humility let me note in the parentheses that I have no intention to create a North-South dichotomy. Based on my personal experience and feedback from several other guardians of patients in the IPD during my stay there, it's simply my selfless advice to the readers of this rteview for their convenience in decision making.) 4. May I request the State Government to avail a few hundred acres of land for I-NK in the hereabouts of the City so that it may serve the society better still, although its glorious presence in the heart of the city has its own significance.

I first visited Dr. Naskar in July 2021 and I can honestly say that besides being a non-money minded doctor he is an excellent psychiatric consultant, probably one of the bests in his field. Previously I was under supervision of a different doctor for three years and the improvement was not satisfactory. The quality which impressed me is Dr. Naskar uses minimum medications and gives a lot of importance on psychotherapy. I wish I had consulted with him three years back.
