I had to go to NIMHANS finally and they confirmed that whatever medicine he prescribed should not be used.
Moreover, his fees is very high. Please do not go to this doctor

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother is his patient, he is God for our family. He had recoverd my mother from a stage when she almost ready to send a mental hospital.
With a minor medicine he treated my mom. and within 1 year my mother back to normal life. It happened almost 16 years ago. Today when I find some rude comments against him I really surprise and forced by my soul to write something. Now a days we visit him in every 2 years.

This is regarding to all the viewers who so ever wants to visit Dr,Uday Choudhuri. Today I went there along with one of my close friend for a consultation and came back with a horrible and terrifying experience. I believe he should consult a Psychiatrist first for himself. He is the most third grade and preposterous person we have ever met. He should know how to talk to any patient or any patient party. It's god's grace that there are lot many excellent and talented doctors are available here in Kolkata to whom we can go and rely on.

A Very Rude and uncaring doctor i have come across.He is a Psychiatrist and does not have control over his Anger. It was an utter Horror..!!
When confronted on his poor diagnosis he blasted and behaved in a fashion we do not expect from the doctor fraternity whome we respect like God.
I would not recommend him to anyone, there are better doctors around who gives time and care to the patient and treats them well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am miss Debleena kundu. I am his patient from class 6. Now I am class 9. When my father took me to him, I was little afraid. When I saw him, my fear got vanished. I will recommend him to everyone because he is very good doctor and he speaks very softly. I will also tell everyone to attend his self help group. He will discuss all of our problems and we will see lots creative minds there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Medical Science is a line where the human touch has to be there for patient who the doctor has treated for a significant span of time. Sticking by rules and not human needs is something not acceptable in medical line.
Very sorry to state that Dr. Uday’s receptionist behaviour was just that. I needed help for an ex-patient whose problems had relapsed and he had gone acutely violent . I am in Delhi and the list of rules that have been communicated to me when I asked support was too mechanic. The only thing I got was rules and not support and on top of that the call was banged.
Disgrace is what I felt during the process. They just sit to churn money. Sad but true....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst doctor ever. He needs treatment himself before the can even think about treating other. My mother was his patient since last 4-5 years. She suffers from clinical depression but his prescribed medicines were for schizophrenia. My mom could have suffered badly had we not checked the medicines and consulted with other doctor. Doesn't even care about the patients. Only cares about money.
