★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interacted with him for surgery of a close friend. Found him very patient, ready to listen to all our questions and answered them patiently. Another good thing worth mentioning is that he has a neat hand, the switches that he did across the abdomen were very neat, left almost no marks. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was referred to Oncosurgeon Dr. Vivek Gupta when my breast biopsy confirmed breast cancer diagnosis and I was in a state of denial, disbelief, fear, anxiety, and extreme stress. During our first meeting itself I and my husband were impressed by his honest, positive and sincere advice with clear directions. He reassured us that although I would have to undergo the full blown cancer treatment protocol-chemotherapy followed by surgery and radiation; the cancer was at a curable stage. I was referred to a medical oncologist to complete my chemotherapy cycles.
After my chemo was completed and based on follow-up PET scan Dr. Vivek performed MRM without any delay and I can’t express enough thanks to him as he is an excellent surgeon and has a very good hand and I recovered with zero complications and minimal scar. There were no dressing visits as he advised to leave the stitches open as he removed the dressing and discharged me on the 3rd day which was a surprise too as I had seen many patients making several dressing visits to the hospital. He was always available to take my calls and address my fears sometimes sending him the pictures and monitoring my progress…provided so much of support for the drain pipe which got choked several times... Top it all he started my physiotherapy the next day after surgery and literally programmed me to do regular exercises and gym after my drain pipe was gone. He taught me exercises for lymphedema prevention and to raise my hand above my head soon after surgery for which again I am so thankful that there were no problems in my radiation planning and treatment. He also encouraged me to do exercises and would send me motivational videos of cancer survivors and made me feel normal…..He also advised me to wear the special glove to prevent lymphedema all well in advance…. He also cautioned me to do regular exercises to avoid weight gain due to steroids given to suppress chemo side-effects….Today 11 months post completion of treatment I have lost 6 Kgs of weight; stay positive; go to office and lead active lifestyle doing all my responsibilities as a mother and wife…He prepared me so well to handle any complications post-surgery and post radiation so well that I remain deeply thankful to him.I realized the true meaning of the common saying that “Doctors are God” and thanks Dr. Vivek for upgrading me to version 2.0…..continue this noble work and stay blessed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Vivek is the best cancer surgeon in India. I owe my life to him. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had a fear of surgery as well as cancer. Dr Vivek, counselled me and made me so comfortable and confident of surgery. He operated me and preserved my breast, just removing the cancerous part. Guided me for Chemotherapy and it has been 3 years since. Someone rightly said , God sent these angles as he could'nt come himself to treat us.

For this we consulted Dr Vivek, from the very beginning he was very compassionate, empathetic and helpful. He was always available to solve our each and every query, even if you are not in hospital he is just a call away. Our hospital stay and all post op visits were really comfortable, like family. He is a Godsend.
