Even at odd hours like early morning or post midnight, You'll get some stalls open to get your requirement. Price is negotiable and quite competitive compared to similar markets of Kolkata like Maniktala or Gariahat. Conveniently located~ just beside DUMDUM Jn. Railway /Metro Station and DumDum Road. There is a good vegetable & fruit market adjacent to it. Grocery items are also available under the same roof called Amritabazar {দমদম অমৃতবাজার}. Thus, it is very convenient for Office goers passing thru DumDum Station to shop all their daily chores from this single place.

The market can be easily located. Also you can bargain fish prices. I am a regular purchaser here. And I did not find any problems in buying fish here. The fish sellers are well behaved.
