★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the biggest fish hub in North Kolkata. Fishes are supplied to multiple places all accross north 24 parganas, North Kolkata, Dumdum area. Numerous types of fresh fishes are available here at reasonable price. Mostly the fish retailers purchases fishes from here. Buying bulk amount of fish will be more profitable than usual. The place is very much busy and crowded. There are clogged water from ice , mud and slippery ground inside the market. One should be careful about that. There is strong fish smell in this whole place. One should be really a fish fan to go there :) , otherwise that would be a horrible experience.

Huge wholesale fish market in the city of Kolkata. From Kingfish to live Mangur - every variant of fishes are available.
Mostly fish traders buy from here but a few retail customers like me also visit.
Sellers are very welcoming - even if you are a retail customer, they will not turn you down, but will encourage to buy a little more.
Facilities for dressing the fishes as per your requirement is also available. You can buy plastic carry bags, jute carry bags in the market itself. But fish sellers won't provide you with any bags here. Besides the geniunity of price & quality - I can vouch for their weighing systems also.
Active 4 am to 10 am.
