The temple issuing fundes to run government hospitals educational institutions in vijayawada through Sri Durga malleswara charitable trust and also providing free food to Devotees. Durga temple had yagasala and gosala.

Mobiles and laptops are not allowed, should deposit outside the temple and go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very sacred place. The temple is in the middle of a hillock. Goddess DURGA is seen in a benevolent and smiling face giving assurance to devotees that her blessings are always with them. The temple administration has ensured good parking facility. For those who are in a hurry, there are tickets for darshan and at the same time there is free darshan. Devotees should also pray at Mallikarjun Swamiji temple which is about 100 yards away. Temple is maintained cleanly. Devotees can take food freely, arranged by the temple. There is no canteen on the top. This picture is a view of the Krishna river as seen from the car parking place. Some devotees take bath in the river and come to have darshan of the Goddess.
