★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eastern Court is a heritage building where during British Period , the courts were located,but now it is occupied by BSNL and MTNL offices. Sanchar Haat ,the sales and customer interface office of MTNL is also loacted. A plaque outside the gate nearer to the Metro station has the historic details inscribed.
Opposite is located, a similar building called Western Court, which is in better renovated condition,which is used for residential purposes of Parliament Members, who are waiting for regular allotment of residences .
Janpath Metro station is just next to both the buildings ,after opening of which the movement of people around these buildings has increased.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eastern Court Building, commonly known as Central Telegraph Office, is the BSNL Office at present. The buildings architecture is Roman constructed by British people.
The maintenance of the building is not good.
