Episose One is very easy to locate as it is located on proper main road, near the Topsia Crossing. It is in the first floor of the building. The place is quite large and divided into separate sections like library, veranda and all. The theme or concept of this place is based on old British gymkhana. Staff were very much courteous and service was quick. I had tried- Salad: Cous Cous Tabouli Salad, Small Plates: Mega Sev Puri, Fish Kempu, Dynamite Prawns, Dumplings: Gen Tao’s Chicken, Truffle & Edamame Dumplings, Sushi: Avocado Cream Cheese, Prawn Tempura, Tacos: Paneer Khurchan Tacos, Chicken Tikka Masala Tacos, Bao: Katsu Chicken Bao, Tofu & Basil Bao, Smoke Plates: Chicken Yakitori, Bhuttey Matar Ki Shami, Slider: Cheetos Chicken, Pizza: Four Cheese Truffle Oil, Spicy Chicken Pizza, Meals: Matar Paneer Kofta, Shawarma Chicken Curry, Desserts: Gulabnut, Snicker Bars. Salad was chatpata and refreshing. Sev puri was too much mouth watering. Fish kempu was like fish fry, but the quality and taste were awesome. Dynamic prawn was fried prawns sauted in gravy. Both the chicken and veg dumplings were tasty, soft, well cooked. Here for the first time, I had tried sushi and I just loved it. Tacos were best, coating was soft and filling was yummy. Baos were soft and their fillings were good too,not too much spicy. Chicken yakitori was another fav dish of mine from here,it tasted more like pan fried momos and awesome. Base of pizzas was thin and soft. Burger was soft and patty was yum. Biryani served with Shawarma chicken curry was amazing and the chicken dish was also good. Matar paneer kofta was also soft and went well with the rice. Lastly, desserts were beautiful. It was an amazing experience and a must recommended place it is.

Episode One, an unit on Speciality Restaurants Ltd. is a newly opened restro bar which is creating a lot of buzz in the city. Its located in the first floor of Trinity Tower, Topsia. The place is divided into 4 sections: * Ballroom * Library * Veranda * Chamber On entering we find a huge mirror followed by the classy decor and beautiful ambience of the different sections. Each and every section serves different purposes. They have a concept of Taptails (serves cocktails through taps)which is something very new and unique in the city. The entire design concept is inspired by old British clubs and gymkhanas with a hint of modernism. Like old British clubs, this place has a Veranda section with huge glass windows with wooden panelling with mosaic floors and one can sit here and enjoy high tea and some amazing shishas. The most amazing part of this restrobar is that their shishas are chemical free and they use coconut coal instead of magic coal. This place defines itself as all day dining and in the evening its converted into a bar. They have a huge bar section. The decor and the ambience is excellent. The service of the staff is really courteous.

The latest talk of the town is located on the first floor of Trinity Towers, and is already quite acclaimed for its latest take on modern day Gymkhanas or British clubs. As such, the interiors are lavish, creatively designed, and have a vintage approach altogether. This place has it's own ideologies mainly circling around freedom of the individual and bonding over shared mindsets. As such, one can wear any type of clothing to the place and avail fine experiences. Some of my favourites among the food include Fish Kempu, Gen Tao Chicken Dumplings, and Chettos Crusted Chicken Slider. They also serve gigantic Hookahs, with an aura of old-fashioned and it's definitely one of a kind experience. Do visit this place for the varied experiences it has to offer and have a great time! ?

I went to this restaurant to attend the Google Neighbourly Meet-up Kolkata and I must say, the ambience is really nice. The staff was very friendly and humble and we didn't face any problems regarding food and drinks. Hospitality was great, welcome drinks, starters and main course- everything was well-planned. Food was delicious and was available in many varieties. The mocktails were great too. Overall I would suggest this place for hangout and chilling with friends. It was a lovely experience and kudos to the Google Neighbourly team.

The newest place for chilling has become the talk of the town within a month. Carrying the past and accepting the future is all the Episode one talks about. The restaurant is divided into five sections named as Ball Room, Tap Room, The Library, Veranda and Chambers. The Ball Room is a place where you can connect with your friends and simultaneously disconnect with the world at the dance floor. Moving from the ball room you get to see the tap room which comprises of a huge bar with taps. The concept of taptails is something which is executed by looking forward to the near future. Long gone the time when you have to wait for 10-15 minutes for your bartender to prepare your favourite drink. You can now order them and get it from the tap immediately. The library section is ideal for people those are willing to work or study and yet stay connected to the outer world. The energy being very low here from the other part of the restaurants, you can easily concentrate in your work or you can leisurely enjoy a good book with some food and drinks. The veranda has more of a casual vibes. Here you can seat and enjoy some sisha with your gang. The Chambers being similar to veranda, can be converted to a private party place for a group of 35 people.

"Episode One" : MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT FROM SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS PROS : 1. Location & beautiful Vintage Decor 2. Service 3. No Prejudice on Dress Code etc ( as mentioned in the Entrance ) 4. No Cover Charge 5. Good Cocktails CONS : 1. Specialty Restaurants have built a reputation on the Basic Essential of the restaurant business : FOOD . Episode 1 has nothing new to offer except for run of the mill bites. Very LIMITED MENU. 2. The Concept / Benefit of TAPTAILS is largely lost to the consumer as not using the services of a Bartender , doesn't makes the cocktails better in any way. 3. Lights are dimmed after a point of time in the evening to the extent that you cannot even read the Menu. JUST 2* : Nothing Great, Nothing Special & certainly Nothing Unique....
