ESSA ~ Studio & Academy for Bridal Makeups - Mumbai

Ok, here it is. I had a reception makeup fixed with Essa. I live in Netherlands, hence everything was discussed on call. All along I was told not to worry about accessories since everything will be provided by sheetal. May 16th was the reception and I landed on India a week before. May 11th (Bandra), I asked for a trial to which makeup was denied and she mentioned only hairstyle will be discussed. I was like ok! To my dismay, on 11th after trial, i was told nothing for the hand will be provided. Wow! That was early information. (Keep in mind, I live out of India and I made a special trip in April for my outfit but was never told to get accesories for the hand). Frantically, I start looking for it from the same day . In Mumbai, I live in Ambarnath and people who know the place might understand what collection one can get there. I kept looking for bangles,kada, bracelets to match my necklace and earring provided by her. I am not a fashionista so selecting one for my wedding just was killing time. Ran from mulund until ghatkopar milan market. Straight 3 days along with my fiance and friend. We could not zero on one. Finally gave up, calling sheetal to bring anything she thinks is right. Well, she did it. But the amount of energy i spent as a prospective bride in 2 days was terrible . And what she bought definitely cost me a bomb! 4200 rs! Coming to the make up, 6.30 PM.Make up done. And without a notice sheetal and her assistant was gone. Nothing provided for touch up or so. 8.30 PM, family and friends noticed patches here and there. It was reception so no scope of hawan or any hindu ritual. This was just bad make up . Aout 9.30-10 , we notice the make up literally coming off as fluid on my nose and other parts. A full A/C hall and this was the situation. What a spoiled evening, when people out of concern started pointing it out. Everyone asking if a touch up was possible but alas! I had nothing because i trusted her fully . It completely ruined the day I waited for so long. I did not enjoy the evening and instead was conscious all along. At some point, my family asked me to wash my face because that was much better than the makeup I had put on! So, save yourself bride if you want to have an amazing wedding time. I will not recommend essa again to anyone. I was deceived by the photoshopped insta pictures. And my naivety about Bandra being an upper fashion society and it would be almost perfect! The only positive i can say was punctuality and a good hairdo. And not to mention the charge for all this mess! 16k( makeup) +1k(travel) +4200( bangles) = 20200. P.S. she did a make up for my sister too . Just a basic one without wvwn applying a base. She mentioned base not necessary since it was summer. Ok! And draping the dupatta for lehenga. Putting a hairpin over her hair. She charged 2000 rs. After this fiasco, i asked for a refund and she returned this 2000 Mentioning as complimentary. So, all in all never again. Reception Evening spoilt with Rs.20200! And my traditional ceremony makeup done by Varsha shah, andheri. Inspite of the big hawan and all stayed good throughout. Thankfully i saved myself from that.

One of the best makeup Sheetal di done she was very polite she gave me the best look once I went on trial I was scared but her tryst and mine she did the best to me with a different look ❤️❤️❤️Tysm for giving a tremendous and different hairstyle was not expecting and the Main thing she has done me ready before time Tysm for it really love forward to again get ready with you love ya ❤️❤️❤️❤️
