★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Sea Food. We had lunch twice at Fish & Barrel while staying in The Fern Tents Daman. Prawns, Dara Fish & everything in sea food is great & reasonably priced compared to the hotels in Daman. Mr Tandel the owner is also a fisherman & will advice you correctly about the days catch of fresh fish & the menu. Thank you Mr Tandel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had lunch at this amazing gem of a place in Daman..its 5 mins away from our resort (Silver waves resort). Absolutely fantastic spread of sea food. Butter Garlic prawns, Bombay duck tawa fry, Dara Fish (this fish is found mostly in Daman and is a speciality) are all a must have. The owner was very humble and even had a special gravy for the dara fish which he got specially from his own home on a short notice.
Couldn't have asked for anything better. A must try place for all sea food lovers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small neat place which not many know about. Beautifully decorated with a cottage feel interior. They boast of having a live kitchen, and hence the long wait time. But, the wait is definitely worth it. Suggestion: order for all you need in one go else you will have to wait and eat in instalments lol. We tried chicken clear soup, Goan prawn curry with steamed rice which was subtly made, butter garlic prawns again mildly flavored, dara fish fry and chapatis & rotis. All fishes get a 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. A must visit for family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants in Daman for seafood. While it was initially difficult to find the place, once located, it gives an awesome ambience and the staff was superb. The preparations were exquisite... The owner Praful Tandel is an excellent host and a great cook himself. We had butter garlic prawns, dara fish, pomfret tawa fry, bajra roti, and bombay duck kebabs... Each item was prepared extremely well. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who is a seafood lover. I for one will visit here again. Wishing Praful and team all the very best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been to this place with my husband they have a family section as well as roof top section for smoker's. The family section was very good with a nice ambiance. We had ordered prawns butter garlic, surmai rawa fry, Dara tawa fry a fish of Daman that's boneless n very tasty a must try , their pomfret masala was also good. They serve a special bhakri with a mixture of 5 attas n it was delicious n soft. The food was extremely tasty delicious n value for money. They will inform you in advance if the order takes time. It was worth the wait to have such a delicious food.
