★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of late, I've been on a kind of a health spree. You see, I love my food and have been gorging on all kinds of tasty, fattening food. But I finally decided to look after myself a bit. So I've been ordering in salads from every salad offering place I can find.
Today, I decided on the ABC - Apple, bacon and chicken salad which is served with a honey mustard dressing.
First off, I got a call from the restaurant because there was some confusion - they couldn't understand from my order whether I'd ordered the non veg or veg ABC. Anyhow, the salad arrived 20-25 mins after my clarification.
The salad was tasty, and had enough chicken and bacon in it. However, I was HORRIFIED by the amount of oil added to the salad! Please take a look at my photos. One could probably cook a whole sabzi with this much oil.
The oil completely beats the purpose of ordering a salad, and I'm really disappointed at such a pathetic start to my day. I fail to understand how restaurant owners and chefs can remain so callous and insensitive to people's efforts towards their health.
I will not be ordering from this place again, and I recommend you don't either. Take a look at the photos I'm uploading. If you still feel like eating from these guys, I'll be surprised.
P.S. just to clarify, that's OIL in the photos, not honey. In fact, I'm not sure if there was any honey added in the dressing at all. It was purely oil and mustard.
Update: So the Zomato guys aren't letting me upload clear photos showing the oil the salad really had. Hopefully here, it'll be different.
