★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a majestic old school opposite Bangalore Medical college, Chamaraj pet. The school buildings are nostalgic.
The expansive grounds are synonymous with Ramanavami Sangeethotsava. It runs for a month from ugadi. In 2019 we attended few concerts. Both Carnatic and Hindustani classical concerts take place.
Some facilities for snacks and coffee available during this time. Some seats are not comfortable and plastic chairs of average quality were present. The accoustics needs improvement. Some limited toilet facility is provided.
Very good classical musicians conduct concerts here. Good for connosiers of classical music.
Pre arrange your transportation, if coming from distant place in Bangalore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A part of expansive grounds of this school becomes the venue for month long Ramanavami celebrations every year in Apr - May by Sri Ram Seva Mandali, in which Carnatic music concerts by many renowned musicians of India are held in evenings. Religious ceremonies and upanyasams are held in mornings. Beautiful pandal is put up along with large dias and about 2000 comfortable seats for audience. A beautiful mantapa with idols of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana, decorated with flowers, forms backdrop of dias. Ample parking space for cars and two wheelers are provided along with canteen and wash rooms.

At fort high school grounds every year during April to May for 30 days Music programs will be held.Majority of the programmes will be carnatic classical music(Both vocal and instrumental).There will be few Hindustani concerts from Eminent musicians from different parts of India.Most of the programs will be outstanding.This is the 84th year of the Sree Ramavavami celebrations and Global festival.
