β β β β β UPDATE: 10th Nov 2021: Freedom Tree Homestore got in touch with me and resolved my issue to my satisfaction. Thank you. Appreciate it. I have modified my rating and review, instead of deleting it.
My experience with Freedom Tree Homestore is underwhelming. Hereβs whyβ¦
It was in 2019, that I spotted the beautiful brick red Amapola cushion cover on the website of Freedom Tree HomeStore. Like with some things, we all want on sight, I wanted it for my new bachelorette pad (mentioning so that you can understand my enthusiasm better). Its brick red will make a beautiful contrast with my sage colored upholstery (mentioning so that you understand, the color was important). The cushion cover was sold out before I could purchase it. I tried sourcing it from Jaypore and it was sold out there too.
In 2020, the pandemic changed the way e-com was run. Big online players floored me with their indulgence. I was a spoilt. Spoilt by their attention, their willingness to make things right for me. I could return or exchange ANYTHING at all if I made a reasonable request. Even smaller e-com setups werent far behind. I remember ordering a Banarasi lacquer Durga idol from Banaras and the store sent me one with a cracked arm. They were small with no reverse logistics, but determined to make things right. So they did.
Now what did all these businesses gain in return? My repeat buys. And its a manyfold gain as I purchase wholeheartedly and feel at home with them.
In Nov 2021, I saw my coveted red Amapola cushion cover on sale on the Freedom Tree website. Its price was INR 490 (down from its original INR 1200 or so) and with a shipping of INR 150 for intra Bangalore shipment. The cover weight was insignificant but shipping high. Everything was ignored by me and I bought it.
And it arrived and in a brown color. With no price tags.
I addressed my query to their Customer Care via mail (with a CC to their Founder: Latika Khosla) and also on Whatsapp and was told I could visit their Indira Nagar Store (only 30 kms one way from my apartment) and exchange the cover. Was also told that the βbrown color is all they haveβ. Was also told that βprice tagged covers are not sent to customersβ.
I mulled about this and told them, I will retain the cover.
Now, few days after the incident, I feel M-eh. Let down.
What did I expect?
I expected a βKindly courier us the cover, we will reimburse you the cost of the courier and send you an item of your choice of same cost, to your addressβ
Least they could do considering their website always showed a brick red Amapola cushion cover and thats what made me buy their product in the first place, the color.
Or does a βdesignβ store of their fame and obvious USP of COLOR in product line, feel that color is not important.
The only two things I could do to feel less stupid (yes I paid INR 150 as courier fee for a polyster cushion cover with a digital print in a color I dont want) was ONE, to vent on dear Facebook and TWO, to never buy from them again.
Peace.

β β β β β Visited this place yesterday. This is surely an artistic delight for home decor. The store assistant took time to show various options. She had good knowledge on aesthetics. We picked up a side table. It was neatly packed by the helper and he put in my car's boot.

β β β β β We are happy with unique designs and upholstery but not with shopping experience and communications.
5/5 :
Very good designs , though teak products are slightly over prized , but some very good designs upholstery and textile.
Bummer Alert: 2/5
We bought a coffee table worth 13.5 K (not very expensive) from the store, we got all promises for delivery, assembly quality checks and polishing etc.
1. I had to call for delivery time .
2 No one came to deliver it was portered to us :( pretty sad about this since the person told us that assembly will be at home.
3. Polishing was done but no wax was used to fill gaps and table was not even wiped with to much dust underneath.
4. Metal frame at the bottom was not checked and there are many places where the paint is missing or scratched during long storage.
Other observation , Here I may be wrong:
** yet am very sure the table base is Iron due to the wait while lady at the shop suggested it is aluminum.
From our experience, we felt freedom tree is better off as online store than offline. If there is competition to pepper fry and fab"s" of India it is also important to focus on end to end customer experience.

β β β β β Quality is great. The prices are a bit costly too. If cost doesnβt matter and you want the best that money can buy then you should visit this place. Some of the furniture are a bit not focussed on usability. Otherwise a great place to find good stuff

β β β β β We had a very bad experience at Freedom Tree, Indiranagar branch. I see their collection is good and could attract customers who are willing to pay loads for good and unique designer furniture. We did the same. We bought many items from them including dining chairs and within a year w/o even actually used much the leg started showing poor work. We said oaky letβs get it repaired as we had one year warranty. But, even that experience is worst than a broken furniture. First, they asked us to get chair there instead of providing home support. We took our chair but here comes the surprise. They asked us 4k extra for leg repairing and polishing which was under warranty. Writing a review so no one be fooled further and take risk on their own. There are plenty other designer furniture shops who gets you better service than we faced here.
Edit: Sonal from the store reached out to me after the review and chair got fixed w/o extra cost and within a week as we wanted it before diwali. Thanks for quick action.

β β β β β Located literally in a corner of a quiet residential neighborhood in Indiranagar is the new store Freedom Tree. A brand new home decor store that boasts of several handmade well-crafted products by various artists from across the country. I was really impressed with the way they actually presented and decorated the store with their products. Everything appears very appealing and attractive to the eyes as you walk in the house.
The store houses items such as sofas, chairs, lighting, drapes, dining tables etc etc etc. A treasure of innovative and creative wall decors, ceramics, and glass items are available if you want to jazz up your place. The person managing the store was very courteous and explained in detail all about the place. It was very interesting to know that several of the products are designed using Indian culture and heritage as an influential source. They also keep changing the designs according to every season, so suffice it to say that every product from Freedom Tree is unique, organic, and one of a kind. If you want to decorate your house/apartment with distinctive and eccentric products and not with some mass produced items, I strongly recommend that you visit this store. That way, we can also support our local artists who bring to us such inventive home decor artwork. Also a great place to shop if you want to gift something unique.

β β β β β I absolutely love this store, it has these beautiful home interior products and inspiring chic design concepts for homes as well as offices. Spaced out over three storeys, the home store is one-of-a-kind in Bangalore and their mid-century furniture, smart modern furniture and tropical furniture designs are absolutely stunning - not to forget the industrial furniture & lighting ideas. Their home decor items; especially the mirrors, plant pots and table accents are just so unique and fresh. Love their hand-painted dining collections too. However, the best part for me personally still remains it's inimitable and wide-range of upholstery and sheer fabrics. I don't think there's anyone in Bangalore who even comes close to their design aesthetics, styling ideas and color concepts when it comes to Home Furnishings and Home Decor. Probably, one of the best home decor stores in Bangalore. One last thing I'd like to add here is their friendly courteous staff and proactive customer support. If you're looking anything for your home or office or even a room, this is a great place and you must visit it once. Photos uploaded of the home store cum design studio are definitely unable to do justice to the mood & vibe the place has.

β β β β β I had visited FreedomTree Design studio to buy a single piece of furniture. But little did I realise that it would be my one stop solution to all my furnishing needs to set up a new home. The top reasons for me choosing FreedomTree are the quality of furnitures that were on display, elegant designs and excellent service. Mr. Shyam and Mr. Edwin were very professional in their conduct and were always available to answer queries. The furnitures were delivered in a timely manner. The delivery person were also very professional and swift. Apart from a minor hiccup with respect to availability of fabric of choice, the overall experience was very smooth.
