★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gaimukh Chowpatty in Thane West is an excellent public place for entertainment. Situated right on the bank of Thane Creek, it is an ideal place for persons of all age and taste. The river bank is endowed with a broad and elongated cemented area with benches to seat and enjoy the Nature. Here, most spectacular is the sunset. It is quite mesmerizing to view the sun going down behind the hills, with the water of the Creek becoming reddish by the glow of the setting sun.
For those who are looking forward to an exciting river cruise, there is a beautiful 2-storey motor launch.
And those who are eyeing towards gastronomic delight, there is a good restaurant with mouth watering dishes at very reasonable rates.
For those who have their own vehicle, visiting the place is very easy. Even who has no personal vehicle, auto rickshaws are easily available.
There are two very good temples nearby. One is Jagnath Shiva temple upon a hill and Sanghamitra Kali temple which is on the flats.
Gaimukh Chowpatty is definitely a gem in the crown of Thane.

Sunset was awesome.
Need to put some light post sunset which is lacking. Along with some dustbins. Didnt find any dustbin to through garbage ☹️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sunrise is a great time to click pictures here. The sounds of birds and flowing water is mesmerizing. However, a lot of construction work is going in the area and as of now the surroundings is not well maintained. Hoping for that to change soon. Many people come here to perform religious rites as well. So a lot of that garbage keeps floating in the water. Hopefully there are some arrangements made for that as well. May be an artificial pond or something like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chowpaty was closed due to covid so entry not available. One can click photos from outside or can visit cruise dinner The C. Outside stall are many one can munch food there egg burji pav maggi tea vada pav snacks item available. Stall burji pav taste good one can try that. Overall ok place parking is also available as it js connected to highway one can park car bike sideways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience by riding a mini cruise at The CCruise! They have options for cruise in the morning and evening, and other times it’s used as a floating restaurant. Weekend tickets for entry must be expensive so use wisely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place once upon a time was marshy and something that one will never step willingly. Now the place is transformed and is one of the attraction on the Ghodbunder road towards Thane. The small food stalls outside offers a unique street food experience. Good place to spend the evening sunset time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very big Chowpatty in the Thane area. You definitely loved the place. Literally crowded on weekends and holidays but has ample amount of space available it is ok. Availability of fast food and some other small food stalls. Best please for kids and families.
