★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the food here. Great tasting Surmai fry and Mutton Curry. We also ordered Dahi Bhindi which is a good vegetarian option if you’re looking. They have good service and valet parking too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First things first... They don't accept cards. So either cash or any of the UPI apps. We ordered prawns rawa fry, fish thaali & chicken thaali. The quantity and quality were both above expectation. Worth the price. The chicken was so well cooked so soft and the gravy was delicious and packed with flavour. Overall it was a good experience. It used to be better, but looks a bit dingy now. There is an AC section too but we prefer the non AC area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places in Mumbai to get fresh seafood cooked in local traditional and in many other varieties. Loosely translated the name Gajalee means ‘Conversations / daily gossip’ in coastal Konkani / Malvani language. And going by this name you may think that this place will serve only Malvani cuisine. And while this place serves very authentic Malvani / Konkani seafood, don’t miss out on trying their Tandoor crab or tandoor lobster or stuffed bombil!! While it may seem a little expensive, It’s worth every single rupee.
This place has very basic clean family friendly ambience. Nothing fancy. They also don’t serve any form of alcohol. But the food makes up for all of that.
If you are a seafood lover, don’t miss this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to get some fresh seafood, especially Malwani style. Special mention to the pomfret fry, surmai and prawns. Get the 'ghaavan' (neer dosa) if you have never tried it. The sol kadhi was a little on the spicy side.
Service was quick and good.
They do not serve alcohol or tea/coffee at this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No, I haven't lost my mind. The food is simply outstanding, the service is great. So, why the 3* rating?? Because between the waiter and I, we killed more than 60 mosquitoes!! And there were more! It is like it was a breeding ground for mosquitoes. It spoilt my evening completely despite having a most wonderful meal. Our table spent more than 14K and I expect that we should get great ambience and come away as satisfied mentally as did our tastebuds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gajalee is serving some of the best sea food in Mumbai at a reasonable price, I visited the Vile Parle outlet during my visit to Mumbai.
I was alone for this dinner, the outlet is an old establishment. They do not serve liquor at this outlet, never the less they make it up with the food.
I was quickly given a seat and was assigned a server, my dinner was as per his recommendations and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
To start the meal I was given Sol Kaadi (Which is a Kokum and Coconut milk Traditional drink) it was spicy but too heavy for me so could not drink the whole glass.
Then was served Achari Prawns & Baby Shark Curry with Roti & Rice. The Prawns were really nice, I have had it before as well at a different outlet and goes well with roti.
The fish curry was decent nothing much to complain, overall the food was tasty and must try if you in the area.
The service was fast and the staff was very courteous. The price for my meal was 1450 INR which is very reasonable as per me and the food I ordered.
Overall a must visit for the tasty food & good service at reasonable price.
