β β β β β Known for its awesome seafood, Gajalee has always been in my mind as this great place we would go for lunches from office when in Seepz. But my experience this time was not very good. We went with family and ordered some starters, fish thali and a chicken dish with Naan. The tandoori chicken, the chicken Tikka masala was great. So was the squid fry.. Very well seasoned and cooked. But the damper for us was the surmai in the fish thali. It was not fresh at all.. For that matter it was so stale that we actually left the fish almost as it is in the plate. The bombil fry was also not to the mark expected of this restaurant. Not sure if the experience was because we went on Monday and would have got fresher fish on Wed or sun.. But it definitely was disappointing to us.

β β β β β Visited Gajalee just for their Seafood and i must say It was super yummm. The quality of the food is awesome. Super tasty and well priced. They also have Thali options to try from .We had the Mutton thali & Butter garlic prawns .It was way too good. Definitely visiting again

β β β β β Taste is good. Felt it was too pricey though for the quantity served. They don't serve Thalis in the dinner but only in the lunch. So, take a note of it. Overall, it's a good xp. However, there's a scope for Chapattis to be increased in radius and thickness. I liked it. Also one imp feedback, you have to be quick in serving Chapatis. It took longer than expected. I wish to have a very good experience next time. Taste is good though β€οΈ

β β β β β Great restaurant to have anything to do with seafood. They have a good variety of choices in terms of seafood. Although recently they have very limited stock of only certain kinds of fish at whatever is available will always be fresh and tasty. Operation is very authentic and more towards the Konkani style of repairing curries and gravies. The fried prawns and prawns pulao is a must try.
