★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegant and beautiful. Located few kilometres away from Ghatsila on Subarnarekha river. The sheer size and scale is what startled me. It a multipurpose dam on Subarnarekha river and an important centre for the industrial cities near by. Easily accessible by roads. The beautiful of this place varies from time to time. If you are visiting in winter then you will experience clear blue skies and sparkling river water but less in volume. If you are visiting in sprint then you will be overwhelmed by the red Palash trees surrounding it. If you are visiting in monsoon then you will be astonished by the sheer volume of water. So moral of the story - No matter what time you visit, do visit this place.
