★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganga Chhatri is 135 years old historical marble monument standing tall in the middle of the city as a silent witness through the history of Bhavnagar . Built in 1883 AD by H.H. Maharaja Takhtsinhji Gohil in the loving memory of his wife H.H. Maharani Rajba who died in 1879 while giving birth to the heir Prince Bhavsinhji- II . ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice piece of architecture. Marble stone is used to make this structure. The carvings on the marble, the net work, the work on the pillars are also very fine. There is a lake next to it, you can walk and stop there. In the middle of the lake there is a water bridge and in the middle there is a white idol with a fountain.
