★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for enthusiastic people who would have interest in stones, minerals and gems. Lots of good artifacts to check. It will take about 1 - 1.5 hours for the visit. They have a shop to buy souvenirs too.

Vast collection of stones and rocks from all over the world. They do provide guide for tour which is must if one wants to understand each and every piece of rock.
Entry fee of Rs.100 is cheap comparable to the whole experience and knowledge one can get from visit. Must for geology enthusiasts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of unique museums in the country. It's the only gem, mineral and fossil museum and the biggest in the world by an individual privately. It's a wonderful place for the subject experts and students in the related field. It's organized in a wonderful way, maintained beautifully and asthetically in the best manner. Of course, it's visited by many but I have doubts, whether people from other areas of Maharashtra and other states are visiting it. This place needs to be visited to know the beauty of earth and geographic wonders for the laypersons as well for the geology students. Staff is knowledgeable and cooperative to give all the information.
