C	Charu Pandey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can see everyone has put in great words about this place. At the risk of being an exception, I did not like the place much. First of all, it was difficult to find this place. There were sign boards placed at places no one can see. Every tourist kept asking the others where is gilbert trail. And then somehow after a lot of walking we found it. To my disappointment, the trail was quite dry. And the scene was not something unique. You will find such beauty everywhere in Kasauli. Even during the hike, everyone kept asking others, is there anything beautiful ahead to see. Most of the tourists didn't even go ahead further and I think it was a good decision. May be it will be better if one visited the place in jan-feb. Or when there is a lot more greenery around.

Though getting to the trail requires an equally long (2 kilometers or more) walk within the cantonment where civilian vehicles are not allowed - at least unless you have connections. We took our dog ? along on the trail!

w	we will travel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's absolutely nice a steep point kind off! Although folks from Mountains won't feel that amazing!! But folks from plains will feel amazing here!! Here they have kind of suicide points and manki point is visible from here. People can have good photos here having beautiful scenery in background. And the way to Gilbert Trail is full of pines so u won't get hot air even the way is full of shades!!!! Must go!

G	Gurparas Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is quite a tranquil place to go and enjoy with friends. Its seems to be an endless trail and the length of the route depends totally on you . You can park the car near cantonment area and go ahead by foot . We also carried our camping and cooking material in our backpacks and cooked maggi there . It will take atleast 3 hours if you trek for 2.5 km each side . But yeah there is silence and magnificent nature all around . Can’t see much of wildlife or birds .

S	Suresh Menon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A one - two kilometre trekking trail about 3 - 4 km from Kasauli bus stand, that takes you to Sunset Point. I didn't see anything special in it, except that some stretch of mountain road, scenic & beautiful no doubt, has been given some fancy name to attract tourists. There is no information why the trail has such a name, it isn't even a trail, it's a paved road at a height of more tha 6000 MSL. That's about it, nothing happens if you give it a miss...
