Ancient caves with Lenyadri Ganapati (one of the ashtavinayak) temple inside. It has 300 steps from parking to reach caves and temple inside. It is clean place with ample availability of parking spaces and good authetic food options at very reasonable cost. Monkeys keep your company as you climb steps ?. Serene and peaceful place, must visit for peace in life.

This lord is one of the deity from the Ashtavinayak clad. Too much to explore but the management of the temple within premises isn't maintained n thought well. It can really do wonders if futuristic n productive outcome plan is carried out.

Great place but visit before 10 because after that sun light cooks you slowly. Temple is clean and cool. No garlands are available at the top so carry some or buy some at the base. There is entry fee of Rs. 25. There are 700+ steps and some are high enough that you can fall also beware of monkeys and some humans who are not less than monkeys.

Girijatmaj Leneyadri Ganapati is one of most beautiful place amongst Ashtavinayak temple. Temple is situated on mountain and you have to climb 300+ steps. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to climb to the temple. Doli service is available @ ₹ 1000/- for senior citizens who can't climb. Uniqueness of this Ganesha is it facing back side.

Best part is in 1 go you can witness 2 beauties. 1 is the Ganesha Temple , one of the from Ashtavinayak Ganpati and other are the caves (Leni) from ancient times created by Buddhist monks for residence. Best part to observe here is how even in ancient days people managed to create such nicely carved caves without machineries. There are approximately 300 stairs one way to reach the temple and caves. For those who can't climb up, palkhi/doli option is also available for Rs 1000 as of now. So even if you can't climb up not an issue, arrangements are there for you to visit the temple with ease. Would suggest to visit the place in daytime as there are no lights in the temple. There is entry fee of Rs. 25 per person as of today to visit the temple.

This Ganpati idol is situated in caves high above the hills. To visit this place you have to climb almost 300-350 big and steep steps. This is one of the ganpati idol worshipped amongst Ashtavinayak tour. The caves in which this idol is situated is named as Lenyadri caves. It is said that Lord ganesha was born to parvati here in lenyadri. You get a beautiful view of the Junnar village from its top. You can even spot monkeys who try to steal your caps, mobile or bags mainly containing food items. To visit these caves there is also an admission charge of ₹25 for 15 years and above.

Lenyadri Ganpati Temple is one of the famous Ganesh temples in Maharashtra which is part of the Asthavinayak temples and the only one located on top of a mountain inside a cave. To reach the temple you have to climb approx 300 stone steps that lead towards the caves. Cart facility is also available at the base that charges 1000/- per person where 2 helpers carry the passenger in a “doli” like cart which has only 1 sitting. Do keep in mind that the gates at the base close at 6:30 pm in the evening for going in. Once you are inside the gate there is no timing barrier. But it is recommended to go while there is still natural light as the temple and the stairs have very limited lightings and it becomes difficult to watch the steps and also do a proper darshan.
