Awesome place to visit.. its a calm place. Avoid carrying a bag or a bottle with you as there are many monkeys that would snatch the water bottle or try to find food in your bag.

Situated on the hill with 300 steep staircases but a very picturesque and peaceful place. Lenyadri caves (3 very small caves - hardly 5 mins a cave) has one of oldest of Ganapati temple (one of the ashtavinayak temple) inside, simple but neat and clean temple and not at all crowded. It takes one hour to climb up and down the staircases and you have monkeys along to keep your company. It has ample parking spaces and authentic cuisine at very moderate/affordable price.

Awesome, about 350 stairs to get to temple. Takes approximately 20 mins to climb up and 20 mins to come back down. Make sure to take water with you.

Caves are series of rock cut caves. One of the caves has Shri Girijyatmak idol an idol of lord Ganesha and is been one of the place from Astavinayak Ganesha which is in cave 7. The place is in Junnar, AhmedNagar district of Maharashtra. This is also been said that this is the place where Goddess Parvati given birth to Lord Ganesha. One has to climb the steps to reach this place. This is maintain by archeological department and three is nominal fare before you start climbing This place shows blend oglf Hindu and Buddhist faiths. The nearby attractions are "Shivneri fort" where one of the greatest king on earth "Raja Shivchatrpati" was born and shri Vigneshwar of Ozar which is also one of the Astavinayak temple which is prominent.
