★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To begin with, this is a hidden gem in Gurgaon in Garden Estate.
You name it and the bakery has it, such a vast menu and options to choose from!
Every occasion in our family is celebrated with desserts from this place.
So the items that I'm about to mention are tried over a period of time and some are newly launched which is termed as 'Lockdown Menu' to satisfy sweet cravings and still remain healthy.
1. Immunity booster bread : This soft bread consists of lemon and orange giving you the necessary dose of vitamin C to keep Corona at bay while enjoying delicious food!
2. Chocolate and Vanilla Swirl Cheesecake : This is ultra good, the freshness and the apt level of sweetness, this is a great option for chocolate as well as cheesecake lovers as the layers are distinctly visible and the taste as well can be distinguished which merge in the mouth to give a wonderful flavour. The texture is crumbly and soft!
3. Spinach & Corn Quiche : We ordered this to break the monotony of sweet taste and it was a delight. Mild flavours of spinach and corn with melted cheese and the soft tart is flavourful. Do not expect the Indian spices here as it is pretty french like to just cheese and salt are the flavours.
4. Chocolate Truffle Cake : This is my most most most favourite. You have to order this one, take my word for it! The layers of chocolate sponge and cream and mousse and the glaz'd ganache is mesmerizing!
5. Crème Caramel : This is my husband's favorite! It is a very rich and elegantly textured dessert. The dripping caramel and the super soft crème base. The knife just glides through.. I bet you can't stop at just one slice.
6. Banana Walnut Bread : This is all the time found in my house, we generally prefer it for quick breakfast or as tea time snack. Perfect sweetness and healthy too!
So, to sum it up.. I order desserts only from this place as it has an international touch to it considering the baker herself has trained there. The presentation, quality are top notch! ?
