Global Biryani serves a massive choice of biryanis. We had ordered the Malai Tikka Biryani and the Chicken Tikka Biryani. They basically serve a bed of gravy and chicken/mutton/veg topped with Biryani rice. Having said that the rice wasn't of great quality and the chicken pieces were too large for my liking. I had ordered mirchi ka salan alongside but it was another masala gravy and not even close to the real thing. The murgh shorba again was a rich white gravy with pieces of chicken and garlic. I did not enjoy the food from Global Biryani Darbar but again everybody has a different taste when it comes to biryanis so do try them and form your own opinion. ☮️

Global Biryani Darbar was a great surprise to me. I am someone who is extremely possessive about my Biriyanis and very very selective. So glad that I tried Global Biryani Darbar's biriyani. They have great varieties of Dum Biryani. They also serve Phirni, Kebab Platter, Paneer Tikka, Caramel Custard, Hyderabadi Biryani. This is one place, I am gonna order my Biriyani again. We had ordered for - Chicken Dilkhush Biriyani - Seriously it was Dilkhush Biriyani, totally loved the taste - it was somewhat like Butter Chicken, which is my favorite. Chicken Tandoori - Great quantity and superb taste, very well marinated and can feel the taste in each and every piece. Do try it out. They have so many varieties in Biriyanis. Overall, I have found my new favorite Biriyani spot.

We had went here on a Sunday evening. It's was not at all crowded. We placed the order and the order took more than 1 hour be on the table. We ordered pahadi chicken which literally looked like boiled chicken. It had no taste. Each dish took minimum 30-40 minutes to come. We ordered spicy biryani they served us sweet biryani. Very slow service. Food = 1/5 Service = 1/5 Ambience = 2/5

It was not allowing me to type before giving any stars. Found big bug in the biryani not good at all. I am going to post this on every food blog. Please don't try. We ordered 2kg biryani + veg biryani. And while eating we found big dead bug in the biryani. ?

The word “biryani” comes from the Persian word “birian” which means “fried before cooking.” One could conclude that the biryani originated in Iran (modern day Persia). I don't know a lot of people who are fans of biryani but global biryani darbar has made me fall in love with veg biryanis(and yes, they exist. Wink. Wink.). The flavour, the aroma and the taste. Aaaahhh! Gives me mini orgasm every time. I have become a regular customer ordering paneer tikka biryani everytime. Do try veg biryanis. The proximity to the station only makes it a great deal to come and eat it. Its situated on the station road in vile parle east. :)

If the word Biryani is what delights your taste buds, than it would surely be worth trying some lip smacking Biryanis from Global Biryani Darbar. Located at Vile Parle East, the outlet caters to the nearby vicinity. It was on a weekday for Dinner, that we ordered for the below mentioned. 1)Paneer Kali-Miri Tikka Biryani- Long grain and well cooked rice in a spicy and flavorful masala loaded with Black pepper. Surely worth a try. 2)Paneer Pahadi Tikka- The portion was decent for 2 people and the unusual green masala on the Panner was amazing. 3)Phirni- What better than ending a Mughlai meal with some delicious Phirni, it very well lived up to my expectation.

So this place is dedicated to Biryani lover! Along with the wide range of non vegetarian Biryani, they have a lot for vegetarians as well. Being a vegetarian this place definitely didn’t leave me disappointed. Serving amazing tandoor dishes along with Biryani definitely makes it a must try. What we ate: GBD special soup: mildly flavoured with just the right amount of spices. More veggies would have added to the soup. Stuffed Paneer Tikka: Perfectly grilled and stuffed with chopped veggies. The marination is just perfect and with a hint of elaichi. The chutney served along is brilliant. Mix Malai Platter: Babycorn, Mushroom and Potato with malai marination, mild and flavoursome. Vegetable Dum Biryani: proper taste but a little more masala would have made it a complete delight! Paneer Tikka Biryani: Loved this. Spicy and exactly how we like it. Perfect proportion of rice and masala. Paneer is super soft making the dish even better!
