★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The school provides curriculum in accordance with the CBSE Board. It is an English medium co-educational school . The faculty members are really good. Good institution overall! A little too much workload like activities on the kids but from the parents perspective can be considered alright.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am requesting you to please put a choice option for parents to not send their kids to mid-terms exams.
Recently kids who have gone to school have tested covid positive. I am only ready to send my child once she gets fully vaccinated. It is not safe for her otherwise.
Henceforth, i would like your kind self to please make it optional as my daughters life is more important than anything related to school.
Grade 11 and 12 have optional exam even tho theyre writing boards, however for 11th grade students do they not have a life as well?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GIIS Bangalore (Whitefield Campus) is one of its kind. The School with technology and proper management in place, working towards a common goal. The teaching techniques are simple and up to date throughout all grades. I had 3 of my children going to GIIS Bangalore Grade 6, 2 & Kindergarten. Academics, sports, extracurricular activities, competitions, or art GIIS will not disappoint you.
Teachers are very appreciative, which makes children feel valued and encourage them to do better. I have a never-ending list of praises for GIIS as a parent. However, if you are looking for swimming classes then please check with management as the pool was not ready until last year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We transferred our kid to this school last year in class 1 as we were short of options where Hindi is optional as second language in junior level. In his previous school there was no Hindi and he didn't know . We have seen significant improvement due to the personal attention of the class teacher Sumalatha mam both in English and hindi just in 8 months time. She pays equal attention to all kids and engages each and every one to speak. My kid is shy yet he has to speak. It has significantly improved his confidence level which was missing in his previous school due to lack of personal attention. I hope every teacher does that if not they should. I am very happy with the way classes are taught. The school is bit on more expensive side monetary wise but they provide the value for it in their teaching model. Truly an international school.
