This is a small fortress on the banks of a lake. Named Govindgarh after lord Krishna, who's idol is present inside the temple. Built in 1855 by maharaja Martand singh, this fort is built with sandstone and wood. It houses a fruit orchid in its front. Three large gateways leading to a courtyard, which once was home to Mohan ( world's first white tiger) and it's kids. The left of the courtyard is the inner palace, to it's left is the Radha Krishna temple. Toward the back is the Kath mahal, a wooden pavilion, overlooking the lake.

This palace was built in the theme of udaipur Lake palace for the pricncess of udaipur after her marriage to prince rewa ...so that she doesn't miss her home after marriage.. This is currently under renovation but still a very picturesque. Lake view is at par with udaipur palace if not better ... Best time to visit .. rainy season
