★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never knew India has 2 HAWA MAHALS. The half constructed, stone structure build at the bank of a lotus pond outside the walled town of Vadhavan in Surendranagar district is a marvel of ancient times. The beautiful stone arches, rhythm of columns and the resultant volume are matters of fascination in the structure.
Beautiful site to visit if you're in Surendranagar district. Also, beware of Snakes, some have found a home in the cracks.

Two hawa mahals are located in India,
One in Rajasthan and other one being in Surendranagar, Gujarat.
The hawa mahal is well built and is very huge. It needs to be maintained

Enough has been written here about this place. I'll just add this :
- when you get there figure out how a large banyan tree seems to be growing on the first floor.
- wish people would not litter. wadhwan admin needs to clean this place.
