Gokul Dham - Mahaban Bangar

This place is of great devotion and faith, but priest has tactics of something like influencing to pay more monetary offerings. Moreover, some persons expres themselves Guide and pressurize to hire them and if you say no, even then they stik along you and chase & pressurize you and later on ask to pay money.

You say this, the holy place. Holy ,my foot. Its full of frauds. We reached Gokul by a taxi the taxi driver suggested a man as guide, we folowed him, he took us to various small places there were small temples but he didnt allow us to go inside them. He just bragged us to a big one. And then, he spoke and spoke and spoke and then we were in front of the gods, and then the priest explains the donation schemes and if you cannot pay you cannot receive the prasad. And donation was like in thousands. And wait a minute just to touch the palki(the jhula) of the god you have to pay a compulsory fees of INR. 600/-. This is not it. There's one more temple of balaram where you have to pay 101/- for visiting. The guide charged extra 300/- plus, there will be people who without your permission will put chandan and tilak and ask for money. In the name of God its just a scam to fool people. By irritation of paying too much and roaming in tense heat waves, my mom said to the guide that stop here we dont want to go anywhere else, we will go to mathura now leave us. The guide got offended by listening muthura. He said, ''aap gokul mey ho aur mathura jaane ki baad kioun kr rahe ho,wo buri jagah hai, wo kans ki nagri hai'' (You are in gokul, why are you speaking about mathura, that's an evil place, thats kan's city) He said as if he had a grudge towards the tourism in mathura and not in gokul. This was an awful experience visiting a holy place like Gokul dham. I cannot suggest anyone to go there. And even if you go,never take a guide and donot go near the preist. Just watch the gods, pray from distant and move. Donot pay a penny to anyone. You will be blessed for sure. Radhe Radhe.

The whole place is a scam. Please be aware of a Laddu Yadav who poses as a guide and dupes people. There is no great thing in duping devotees who come to visit a holy place. This guy Laddu yadav is hand in glove with the priest and they demanded 5000 Rs from us . He has a brother there in Gokul. Laddu Yadav catches you at Krishna Janmabhumi as well. Simple and most important advice: Even if you miss Dharshan timings, please dont take the help of any guide in Mathura. They are all out to dupe you .

Small pond seems to be the only good place in Gokul along with Raman reti temple. Rest all can be avoided.

Here we can find everything related to childhood of our Lord KRISHNA. Old kadam tree and where they used to grage cows and that tree where Lord used to play flute. And there is 10000 cows which are fed by the trusts.
