They will force you to put money in every temple but no need of that put whatever's your wish or no need . God will not force anyone to keep money . A	Ashok J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gokul is a little yet wonderful getaway from Agra, around 15 km of the south-east of Mathura and lying on the banks of Yamuna. Located 16 kms from Mathura, It was where Lord Krishna was covertly raised by his foster mother Yashoda. Gokul is a quaint town offering fascinating mythological stories from Lord Krishna's childhood resplendent in its glorious places, structures, temples and elements. The two must visit sites here are Gokulnath Temple and Ramanreti whose sacred sands (reti) are redolent with the stories of a bygone era when Lord Krishna frequented to engage in divine plays (raman) with his brother, Balarama and his cowherd friends. Today many pilgrims roll on the sands to seek blessings from Lord Krishna.

On the name of bhog they charge at least 1300. There is no bhog all the money go in their pockets and it is all part of a scam. There are no facilities and the temple maintenance is minimum. If you hire guide don't pay more than 151.The lassi outside the temple is worth trying though.

He will catch you at Krishna janmabhomi and will hand you over to someone at Gokul. There is no religious significance to this place and I won't advice any one to go there. The preiiests are hand in gloves with this setup and they say that Yogi Aditya nath is encouraging this entire setup.
