★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vada pav wasn't available but tried their moong dal bhajji which was crispy and tasty.. The much hyped thecha (Green chilli chutney) is spicy but lacks flavor.. You'd better taste their dry chutney.. Nothing out of the ordinary.. Can drop by for vada pav or moong dal bhajji for evening snacks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the busy main road on old Mumbai-Pune highway , you will face a hard time finding a parking space, and only if you are lucky would you get your order quickly. There is forever rush here, especially in the morning and evening time. Samosa is also a good option here but it is sweet in taste so not everyone will like it, there's raisin and Cashew inside the Samosa. Moongdaal bhajiya is another great option people should try,it is being served with Thecha (green chilly chutney).
Give it a try if you are in Lonavala, and you may not regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is always crowded, as its located at the main market road ..no space to park your car or even halt for a few minutes.
They always serve piping Hot vada pavs as they get over quickly.
its a good place to relish some hot vada pav.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem and worth skipping express highway just to have moong dal pakodas here. Hot moong dal pakodas are served with spicy and tangy green chilli chutney, which goes perfectly with small and crispy pakodas. Located exactly on the main road, to find parking here is a little task. Other than moong dal pakodas, vada pav is worth trying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently visited golden chikki & vada pav when we were visiting Lonavala. We tried their Moong bhajiya with mirchi thecha.
Mirchi thecha or mirchi chutney was absolutely packed with flavours. It was spicy & tasty which goes so well with moong bhajiya.
We absolutely loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop is at the main road only. I went there after seeing reviews. But i was not very happy with the food. Vada pav and even samosa pav was ordinary what you eat in other local stalls. Their 'Thecha' (mirchi chutney) was very much spicy. Mugdal bhajiya was the only nice thing I liked .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read so much about this hyped place. Well it turned out to be okay. Though can't complain as the sight and smell or freshly fried vadas do call you, and the taste of piping vadas in the morning is always awesome.
Located in the busy main road, you will face a hard time finding a parking space, and only if you are lucky would you get your order quickly. It seems there is forever rush here, especially in the morning and evening time.
Taste, as I mentioned is okay, especially for Mumbaikars. They serve vadas with thecha. You can try the next door "Lonavala Famous vada" shop who offers lasun chatni as well, and is a bit cheaper, but by no ways less tasty.
Give it a try if you are in Lonavala, and you may not regret it.
