Better to go in the afternoon when the fresh stocks come.
The size of the shop is small which they need to redress.

You must try their rasgollas. The best sweet they make.
Outlet is hygienic but staff can be more helpful and friendly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had heard about Gopala many times before or since my parents always bring sweets from here. Personally I don't like their rasgulla at all since it tastes very diluted, but their laddoos are very good. Inside it feels like a gift shop or a souvenir shop you would expect from a European town. Other than Indian sweets you can also find some additional things like namkeen flavoured pasta and milk cake. Everything in this shop is 100% vegetarian, so if you are a vegetarian you might find this comfortable but for a vegan like me it was a little rough experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought Kalakand yesterday evening. Distributed it to our service providers. Luckily kept 2 for us. It was stale and sour. It seems there are no quality checks as they are opening new outlets. So be careful if you buy milk products from them.
