GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE(GEC), Samastipur is one of the new Government Engineering College established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. It will start its first academic session 2019 from campus of Muzaffarpur institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The new engineering college will have three engineering branches – Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with an intake of 60, 60 and 120 per branch respectively and 240 students in total. Education prepares a person to meet new challenges, scale fresh heights and lead a successful life. We, therefore, at GEC Samastipur, would like to encourage all students to strive for the best and achieve excellence by way of inclusiveness, integrity, innovation and creativity. Overall, the college is good, and I am satisfied. The campus is huge. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Infrastructure:- ----------------------------- Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc., are available for all the students. Faculty: - ----------------------- The teachers are highly qualified and have a genuine sense of techniques to make every student understand the concept in-depth. Almost every teacher qualified the prestigious exams like GATE and ESE during their tenure. The teaching quality is very good.
