Like all other state government engineering colleges in Bihar, it is also affiliated with the Aryabhata Knowledge University, Patna.
It is one of the seven technical colleges of Bihar that had been included under the NPIU – TEQIP III project for the up-gradation of Technical education and institutional advancement. The project is funded by World Bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best College after IIT and NIT in Bihar for Engineering.. Best Government engineering college in Bihar.. Good Choice to do Engineering from here.. You can do engineering at very low cost from here.. Faculties are really helpful and kind.. Every Needy thing is nearby to college.. Such a Biggest college.. You'll have to invest 2-3 hr by foot to complete round of the whole college.. Really appreciable environment here but somewhat underrated, but now getting placements too and hoping demands will increase by time..

This is one of the institute under AKU university at ranked ? one in all other colleges specially some branches are special like IT, LT in this branch from last few year success rate increase rapidly, infrastructure of college is better then many nit. This is 2nd nit of bihar is at removed from aku to Central University
