Presently it is under Ministry of AYUSH Mantralaya, Govt of M.P. It is the only Government college in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Institute is affiliated to Barkatullah University and Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan University Jabalpur. The BHMS degree course had been conducted by Barkatullah University Bhopal since 1990-91. Presently Bachelor of Homoeopathy and Surgery i.e B.H.M.S (Direct) from session 2015-16 &M.D.(Hom) from session 2016-17 was now affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan University Jabalpur. Paramedical courses namely X- ray Technician, Yoga and Naturopathy since 7 Years were conducted by Madhya Pradesh Paramedical Council Bhopal/. The infrastructure includes Undergraduate and Postgraduate wing comprising of office, college, hospital and auditorium sections.
