★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Luggage got lost when I was travelling from Muscat to Hyderabad. Nobody responds on the number given by the ground staff in Hyderabad. I would suggest everyone not to travel by gulfair. The service is extremely poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We travelled from London to Mumbai via Bahrain on 27/01/2020 and at checking we were told that meals were not correctly booked by our travel agent and my mother in law’s meal was not booked as Asian vegetarian and my one was not booked as fruit platter, at check in the very helpful lady said to let the flight attendant know who can sort this out and assist with our request, when we entered the flight this was requested, as we were being given our food the flight attendant said we only have Asian vegetarian from you on the list so that’s all your getting and you so that’s what you will have to eat , which I gave my tray to my mother in law as so she does not get told the same thing with rudeness, I then requested to get some fruit and just plain roll which I was told you have had your tray so you will have to eat that, as with pervious experience I have always felt sick when eating the food on plans and hence always request fruit platter.
Following this experience and knowing that I will not be getting any food I had to wait until I Bahrain to eat something, while I boarded the flight from Bahrain to Mumbai I mentioned the same thing to the next flight agent to which I took the much shock of all time to be replied by well it not my problem your ticket agent got your order wrong so you will have to take it up with them, and not even a helpful gesture of we will try to help you until you can contact them for your return flight, on the same flight GF056 my wife was helping carry her elderly pedants bag as they are 78+ to a flight attendance say why did they bring bags that they can’t carry to her colleague which was not called for when already n where annoyed by the food situation, then we get to our seat and all over head compartments were full and we requested assistant to where we can put our luggage and was told Hurry up and put it somewhere, we questioned weather they were having a bad day or weather the previous destination they came from they had been upset by other passagers, but why take it out on use when we are humble and understand every situation and brush things off, but two flights same experience was the short straw, and dread our return flights back to the UK and we will be taking his complaint further as this has been the worst experience travelling with gulf air

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor administration in India. I did not receive my baggage when using Gulf air for a return journey from Dubai. Call center do not help and baggage claim numbers provided of Mumbai do not pick calls and Gulf air do not respond on emails. Be wary before booking though this might come as slightly cheap option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor experience travelling with this Airline. They had a peculiar policy that Cartons are not allowed in checkin luggage and asked me to read the fine print on the website. As all major airlines do allow Cartons, I had poor experience checkin my luggage and had to source a suitcase last minute to travel.
Will not be travelling again with them.
