★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I met an accident on 2nd of November 2019 in Mysore road which left my bike damaged pretty badly. When I took it to Rajrajeshwari service center I was given an estimate of 69K for the repair of which only 39K was recoverable from the insurance provider. Just then I saw this ad in my building and with the bar code scan I reached the website and booked an appointment with Gully Garage. There were 2 person at my door a couple of hours later. They examined my bike for the next 1 hour and gave me an estimate of 28K for the complete repair and said it can be about a 1000 up or down from that. Hence I decided to take a chance and gave the bike to them for a repair. It took them 2 weeks to repair it as the accident impact was mostly on the engine and hence many integral parts were broken/damaged. The final bill came out to be 30,600 of which 18360 was recovered from my insurance company.
So all in all instead of paying and access of 30K i ended up paying just 12K and hence saved 18 K. When I asked them what was a difference in the 2 bills then I came to know from them that there are many components within the engine that can be repaired rather than just replaced. These guys knows their job and hence targeted only those parts for a removal that were completely damaged and that's how they could save a lot of money from my pocket. It has been over a month now and my cousin has run the bike for about 800 km since its repair and as per him, the bike is working just fine. So I would like to thanks Gully Garage and give them 3 cheers. You guys rock.
I will post some pics of my bike before and after service once I know from where I can do it ??
