It is one of the avatar of lord shiva.
This temple is very old and lakhs of devotees visit and perform pooja.
Now temple is renovated with big temple and new gopura.
Many devotees offer pooja with sacrificing livestock like hen, chicken, sheep and goat as per their prayers.
New renovated temple is looking good.
This temple is in between varthur and gunjur at vinayaka nagar behind petrol pump.
As per locals muneshwara swamy is the kuladeva and powerful god.
