★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's MAHA SHIVARATHRI today and they didn't start abhishekam until 7.30AM waiting for some family to come!! If it's treated as a private Temple where the pooja waits for select few vip families and make public wait, they better display it on notice board so that public know what they are in for. This rating is for organisers, I can't rate the temple. The archakas seem to be nice people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the photos uploaded in Google is not pertains to Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple (Lord Shiva Temple). These photos are pertains to the Temple located next to Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple which was constructed 2 years back. Also, Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple is an ancient Temple which was constructed by Chola Dynasty around 800 years back.
Somebody has intentionally uploaded the photos of both the temple just to mislead the devotees. Lord Someshwara Swamy Temple does not require any publicity. Lord Someshwara Temple is famous for simplicity and spacious temple.
Shiva Parivara - Lord Someshwara Swamy, Goddess Parvathi, Ganapathi, Subramanya, Nandi and Avadumbara Vruksha worshipped in this Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple name Sri Someshwara Swamy Temple. It is wronly updated as Shiva Temple in Google. Very nice temple and most powerful god. Temple Timings 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Monday and 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on other days. Also, temple will remain open 24 hours on Karthika Purnima and Mahashivaratri and Temple will remain open at 6:00 AM to 11:00 and 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM on festivals. This timings maintained from many years This is very ancient temple and daily poojas done as per the vedic culture. The speciality of this Temple is main Preist or his assistants will not expect any thing from the devotees. The main specialty of this Temple is Hundi / Cash box not kept here. They are very much happy with daily sevas that they are offering to the God. The main Priest even cleans the Temple and premises every day. I am very lucky to visit this Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pandit ji was so humble and never showed his greed for money like others do. Did proper prayers with whole heartednes for us. Pandit ji has proper knowledge of all the rituals ans is very hard working.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the temple with my son the next morning of Shivaratri 2022.
The temple was closed but the priest opened the door which had three locks though I said it's ok.
Seems he was awake all night and tired, still we got gods Darsahana.
Felt like a VIP, by grace of lord Shiva both me and my son got his Darshan.
Note : This temple is an old one with no box to take offerings. The priest does his duty perfectly.
