★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can reach there from Delhi road via Mogra. People who are travelling g from howrah or hooghly to Shantipur can take the route. From guptipara ghat one can take ferry to reach shantipur . It's a shortcut route and travel time as well as mone can be saved. The beautiful Ganges is an extra gift. The ferry can board a truck also. It takes 130 Ruppes one side for charges of a car. Good one

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guptipara Ferry Ghat is 20 minutes away from Guptipara Railway station. People use it to go from Guptipara ( Hooghly district ) to Shantipur ( Nadia district) easily.
First of all I would like to discuss some basic information before going through the details.Guptipara "Ferry Service" is the only connection between Hooghly and Nadia district. One can reach from Guptipara (Hooghly) to Santipur (Nadia) and from Santipur (Nadia) to Guptipara (Hooghly) through the Guptipara "Ferry Service" and there are two boats and two jetties available here. Ferry service starts from 6 a.m. in the morning and ferry service closes at 8 p.m. at night. Life jackets are available here and daily more than 1000 passengers avail the ferry services. So many people avail the service just for a joy ride over the beautiful river Ganges (Bhagirothi). Anyone can avail the service to purchase a ticket of ferry service from the ticket counter.
During our visiting, we checked, but did not find any wheelchair accessible toilet . The ferry service opens at 6 o'clock in the morning and the service sustains till 8 p.m. We also updated the location on "Google Maps".
Now I would like to discuss the matters in details, we marked the wheelchair icon " WHEELCHAIR ICON" marking " √ " for PASSED and "X" for FAILED ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guptipara is a very snappy shortcut to get to the Hooghly's. We used it to avoid huge road-jams on NH-34. This Bhagirathi Ferry Service is very active till the eves. The site has also an adorable scenery.
