INTERACTION SESSION OF STUDENTS WITH HDFC BANK IN SIDHWAN KHURD-Cyber security refers to protecting systems connected to the Internet from threats in cyberspace. Keeping in mind the importance of cyber fraud awareness to students G.H.G Public School ,Sidhwan Khurd organised interaction session of students of +2 Commerce with HDFC Bank under the able guidance of Principal Mr.Pawan Sood on 17th November, 2021. On this day Mr.Vipin Jain,Mr Sanjay arora from HDFC Bank, Dholewal Chownk Ludhiana (Department of Credit intelligence and control) were present as guest speakers.All students of Commerce stream attended this interaction session along with their teachers.Students participated enthusiastically in  question answer session.During this session Mr. Vipin Jain and Mr.Sanjay Arora gave valuable  knowledge about banking structure and they also gave information about the cyber fraud awareness through PPT. At the end Principal thanked the guest speakers for sharing their valuable time and knowledge and promised that such kind of interaction session will be organised in future that  give subjective knowledge and practical guidance to students.

Educational Trip - Science Trip-for class XI and XII (Science and Humanities)-Educational excursions not only enhance the knowledge of the students but also broaden their outlook towards the outside world .G.H.G Public school, Sidhwan Khurd organized an educational trip for class XI and XII (Science and Humanities) to Pushpa Gujral Science City and Rangla Punjab on 13th Nov, 2021 under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr. Pawan Sood. A group of 112 science students joined the trip along with teachers, Ms.Raman Dhaliwal, Ms.Ramandeep kaur Sivia, Mr.Basant singh, Mr.Vishal and Ms.Satinderjit kaur. The trip to science city was a wonderful experience with full of knowledge of Science, Maths, Biological and much more making science more interesting. The students visited Fun Gallery, Amazing living Machine, Virtual Gallery, 3D shows, Laser show, Simulator experience and special show in the Dome-Shaped Theater, etc. In the afternoon to refresh the students , a lunch was organized at Rangla Panjab. At Rangla Panjab, students saw activities like puppet show, magic show, Pottery making and many more. At the end a DJ party was arranged for the students where they enjoyed the every beat of music and expressed their joy with dance moves. Overall it was a knowledgeable trip and memorable trip. Students enjoyed the trip very much and thanked the management and principal for giving them chance to gain knowledge.

GURPURAB CELEBRATION-Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught us the path of truth, righteousness and compassion.The auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti is one of the most important festivals in Sikhism. Under the able guidance of Principal Sir Mr.Pawan Sood,G.H.G.Public School Sidhwan Khurd celebrated the 552nd Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji,the founder of Sikhism with full devotion and enthusiasm on 18th November,2021.The chief guest of the day was S.Amarjeet Singh (Secretary),the guest of honour was S.Kirpal Singh Bhattal(member) Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd.   Mrs.Rajwinder K.Hundal, (Principal K.C.W), Mrs Jatinder Kaur (Principal, Sikh Girl's School) ,Mrs.Kamaljeet Kaur ( headmistress, Sikh Girl's School) were also present on this occasion. During the celebration students presented shabad kirtan, religious poems and satsang related to Guru ji life . Mrs Paramjit Kaur chahal delivered speech on the philosophy and principles of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji . Ms Navreet Kaur Virk conducted the stage S.Kirpal S.Bhattal addressed the sangat and englightened them about the life and teaching of Guru Sahib and inspired them about the path shown by Guru Sahib ji.At the end of the function Principal Mr.Pawan Sood said that school is always committed to make efforts to connect the students with Shri Guru Sahib ji and conveyed the message to all the sangat to follow the principles of Gurbani. for more details

SPORTS_TOURNAMENT2021----BOXING, HANDBALL, VOLLEYBALL, FOOTBALL and BADMINTON -----Sports and games are an integral part of our life and sports play a pivotal role in the makeup of a young athlete. Under the able guidance of S. B.S Sidhu ,President of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust,Sidhwan Khurd ,G.H.G Public School ,Sidhwan Khurd organised Inter house sports tournament from 27th Oct,2021 to 3rd Nov,2021 in the school ground. Respected S.Harmail Singh Sidhu, Secretary , S.G.H.G.U Hari Trust and S. Amarjeet Singh , Member, S.G.H.G.U Hari Trust attended the closing ceremony of Inter House sports tournament. The Tournament included events like #Boxing_a_new_game_started_this_session for boys and girls both , A combat sport fought by two combatants wearing gloves, Football and Volleyball for boys , Badminton and Handball for girls. Each event was a very exciting challenge for our four great houses such as Baba Ajit Singh Ji, Baba Jujhar Singh ji ,Baba Zoravar Singh ji and Baba Fateh Singh ji .Winners of the Inter House Competition are:- In football Match:-first prize won by Baba Jujhar Singh Ji House, Second prize won by Baba Zorawar Singh Ji House , Third prize won by Baba Ajit Singh Ji House. Janjot Singh(+2comB) selected best player in football from Baba Jujhar Singh Ji House. In Volly-ball Match :- Baba Ajit Singh Ji House got 1st position, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji House got 2nd position, Baba Jujhar Singh Ji House won 3rd position. Gursimran Singh(10A) selected best player in Volleyball from Baba Ajit Singh Ji House . In Badminton Match:- 1st position got by Baba Fateh Singh Ji House ,2nd position got by Baba Jujhar Singh Ji House ,3rd position got by Baba Zorawar Singh Ji House. Manvir Kaur (+2ComB)selected best player in Badminton from Baba Fateh Singh Ji House. In Handball Match:- Baba Ajit Singh Ji House got 1st position, Baba Jujhar Singh Ji House got 2nd position, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji House got 3rd position. Harleen Kaur (+2ComD) selected best player in Handball from Baba Ajit Singh Ji House . In Boxing:- Avtar Singh (6th D)selected best Boxer from boys. Khushpreet Kaur ( 7th B)selected best boxer from girls. Trophies and medals were given to all the position holders. Overall trophy won by Baba Jujhar Singh Ji House.Secretary S.Harmail Singh Sidhu appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to achieve more success in coming future. On this occasion Principal Mr. Pawan Sood thanked the Chief guests for sharing their valuable time and views.He also appreciated the efforts of the all House incharges members and DPs S. Harmandeep Singh ,S.Bhupinder Singh ,S. Sukhwant Singh.
