★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of this biriyani center is very much prominent. It is situated just at the crossing of Tollygunge phari, just beside RSV nursing home. This is a small shop but it has a space inside to seat and enjoy your biriyani with your family and friends. They have a "take away" section which is typically decorated with a red cloth wrapped up on a huge "handi", inside which they have fresh, hot biriyani both chicken and mutton. The shop is most of the time over crowded because first of all the taste of the biriyani is too good and secondly the price..!! A reasonably huge amount of chicken biriyani will cost you only Rs. 80.00 (us$ 1.12). The staffs are polite and fulfill the demand of giving a "little more" on your plate/packet. They have a wide variety of biriyani:
1. Mutton Biriyani
2. Chicken Biriyani
3. Special Mutton Biriyani
4. Special Chicken Biriyani
5. Egg Biriyani
6. Alu Biriyani
In addition to this they have another two items
1. Mutton Chap
2. Chicken Chap

I would rate this biryani joint as one of the bests in this area, a true hidden gem. Their biryani is light, devoid of dalda and the quantity is too good for one. The price is reasonable too. Ordered two plates of chicken biryani with egg along with two chicken chaanps. The biryani deserves a 4/5 star from every aspect and the chanp went too well with the biryani. The oil is less, the smell or taste of Garam Masala was not dominating and the chicken piece was big and soft. Though they are using paper boxes for parcel (biryani), mine came perfectly. The chanp was sent in a container, hence no spill. They gave loads of cucumber too with the order.
Will order more. Will recommend this biryani to all.
This is a roadside joint but they can give a run for money to many known places who claim to be the bests in biryani and are highly celebrated by paid food reviewers, for no reason.
