★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quantity is very less. At best the quantity they serve is good for an evening bite. The fried onion they use is playing as spoilsport. They can opt for conventional biryani rather than trying to experiment with tastebuds. The chicken piece I got was very small, like a tikia/kebab in size. I won't recommend this place as of now, lot of better biryani outlets are there at an arms length. They need to work very hard to float above the competition around them to survive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at a few steps ahead in the left lane of South City Mall, Dhaka Biryani House serves a plate full of tasty biryani at a much pocket friendly price. We ordered two half plates of Chicken Biryani which costed Rs. 70 each. A full plate would bave costed Rs.110. A chicken gravy was provided alongwith. The biryani had a juicy beautiful taste. The chicken pieces were quite large in shape and too soft and tender to tear apart and were quite lipsmacking. Other biryanis in the menu include Mutton Biryani costing 130 full plate and 90 half plate, Prawn Biryani and Mixed Ilish Biryani both costing 120 full plate. Chicken Kasha, Mutton Kasha, Chicken Jhal Fry and Mutton Masala are available. Firni is available at Rs. 20.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good dhaka style kachchi biryani. It is quite different to the kolkata style biryani we are used to, but unique in its own right no doubt. The place is just beside south city mall and parking is definitely an issue in the busy hours. Biryani is served as half or full plates, very reasonably priced and staff behaviour is very satisfactory. Chicken and mutton side dishes are quite good too.
