Last week I had my ford Ecosport registration number MH-03 BJ 1359 repaired at Hare Krishna auto Nahur, Mumbai. The fault was repaired with the wiring which was a job done well, but they also charged me for the IDS / ECM Scanning (refer to attached receipt) for which, when I requested for the report of the scan they did not have it at the time of bill payment/ car delivery after repairs. When I requested for the scan report, I was informed that the scanning machine for IDS/ECM is gone for breakdown. After 2 days when I requested for it again, I was informed that the Scanning machine for IDS/ECM is broken down.
I don't think that the scanning was actually done and the Service Manager (Mr. Akshay Sabnis) and the GM (Mr. Mayuresh Pawar) are just trying to fool me. I'm not at all happy with this and want Ford India to intervene. I was expecting from the service manager to take the scan before and after the repairs and provide me the reports so that we can compare.
When I called and asked, the GM (Mr. Mayuresh Pawar) for the scan, he asked me why do you need a scan report if the car is working properly and we do not provide reports for the scans. This is unacceptable. How can he prove that the scanning machine was actually used?
