Harsh Apartments - Delhi

I live in this DDA flats since 2005. This is not society but DDA MiG flats named as Harsh Apartment (in the name of previous president’s son). This pocket is lacking at lot many points : 1. Security is just for the sake. Secuirity guard’s are not from the good security agency and these above 60-70 years old guard’s taking nap at gate and hardly bother to ensure intruders. 2. It has very tiny small park for kids. A long stretch of narrow builtup make this park distanceful from each side. You observe child’s are playing around at the street. 3. Being a DDA flats, too much of unauthorised construction happening that leading the question mark on the stability of structure in long run. Too many connstruction labourer inside the pocket anytime making this place very vunrable for women and girls. Few incidents already happened where drunk labourer targeted women in evening time. 4. Water tanks at ground. Previously this pocket had acute water shortage forcing residents to install big water tanks at ground. Now water issue has sorted with second water line installation. However residents still use their ground water tank (lack of civic sense of saving water). This eats up open parking place. 5. Major parking problem. Due to water tank, 75% of parking area are used by water tanks at ground. Rest, some idiots ground floor residents have captured the entire area in front and side of their flats by having bush fenscing etc. even some have converted that to marble flooring. Also one family having multiple car, fighting for space. 6. Construction of this building happened in 1990 and left open by DDA till 2000 when allotment happened. The erosion had been very high and grit wash (outer layer of wall) is falling everywhere. 7. Incompetent RWA - being DDA flats, price of the flats is bit cheaper that attract people from lower middle class. Also, exodus of good and educated gentlemen’s from society due to these issues has left business class primarily. Nearby market has also fuel the growth of business class illiterate (by mind) people - and thus so many property dealer are here. These people are primarily part of RWA to have hidden agenda to promote their business. Any good and gentlemen having money buy outside and move. RWA hardly visible. 8. Too many stray dogs making this pocket very unsafe for kids. 9. No space to have evening get together of residents. Even if you want to socialise, your frequency will not match with people here. 90% occupancy is by lower middle class tanents who can not afford the rent of society flats. Some good things: 1. Very close to market. You just have to walk down, no problem in parking issue as no need to take your car out. 2. Sweet water supply unlike salty water in societies. 3. Airy room in flats. Being DDA. 4. Pocket road side flats from 2nd and 3rd floor has nice greenery and swimming pool view of GD Goenka school. 5. If you own top floor, you are allowed by DDA to construct a room and urinal with DDA permission. 6. CCTV suvelenece in road area. However, many times found not working when footage needed.

Well located, peaceful and it has boundary across all side to enhance security

That was my previous home, I left that house because of my job but everything is available at this place i.e. market, shop, street food, brand food n many more things. For sure in future if I had a chance to live again I would love too?

Located at a very prime location of 6*10 market. It is a safe and secure DDA society. It does not have lifts.
