β β β β β Dr Anjali is the kind of vet every pet parent needs.
We adopted two 4 week old tiny kittens whoβs mother had abandoned them. When they got sick, our local vet diagnosed FIP. Which is a terminal disease for cats with less than 7% chance of survival in adult cats and pretty much no chance in such small abandoned kittens. We visited pretty much every 5 star rated vet in our vicinity. All vets were good but no one wanted to continue treatment as they had very slim chances. We visited Dr Pallab in Hadapsar who recommended Dr Anjali to us.
We knew our kittens did not have a chance since they had very low immunity to fight against the deadly disease. But Dr Anjali never gave up hope and made the small amount of time our kittens had with us comfortable for them.
When we adopted another pair of kittens, Koa and Kenzo, needless to say Dr Anjali is our go to vet. Her treatment works very well for them and they are happy, healthy and playful kittens thanks to Dr Anjali.

β β β β β There is a huge problem with the way Dr. Anjali works. Context, I had my dog's neutering done here and it was a botched job.
1. It took his wound (which shouldn't have turned into a wound in the first place) more than 2months to heal. And when it healed finally (within 2 weeks), it was because of another vet and not Dr. Anjali.
2. Dr. Anjali's husband, who runs the shop (that too, badly) is constantly at the operating table. He has never been of much help but he does mess up her work. He pulled on the stitches of my dog while Dr. Anjali was trying to cut the thread after 3 weeks (something she expressly asked me to avoid after the operation). He gave a really bad e collar which made the dog uncomfortable.
3. Dr. Anjali is also not very good with her handiwork. She rarely touches dogs unless they are sedated and she looks scared most of the time of the dogs on the table.
4. She gave a few meds to heal the wound but if I hadn't stopped and consulted another doctor and changed the meds, I believe the wound have festered and caused far more damage to my dog.
5. Neutering itself is an invasive thing on our pets' lives without the added frustration of it not healing. It generally takes 2 weeks to heal but my dog had to endure 2 months of being on e-collar and a constant irritating wound that just wouldn't go away. By the end of it, my dog, I believe started hating me for this immense toll Dr. Anjali exacted on him. He is okay now (no thanks to Dr. Anjali).
6. I am also not very sure of what happened during the operation but afterwards whenever I took him to her, he used to be extremely scared of her. I am saying this because it was not the case with the next vet even though the next vet gave him intramuscular injections everyday.
Why I am writing such a long and vivid review because I believe, someday her incompetence and her husband's (who is not medically or otherwise trained to handle dogs) idiotic intrusions would cost a pet's life. If you need an operation for your pet, please find another doctor. There are so many, who would really do a much better job than her.
