Ambience was quite nice. Hospitality and behaviour of the people was really good. We ordered prawn cheese pakora, Mutton MEZWANI Bhuna, Chicken Taheri. Prawn cheese Pakora is good, tastes different. The salad and pieces of lemon that come with were not fresh (you can see it from the attached picture). Mutton MEZWANI was really nice BUT chicken taheri was spicy as Hell!!!! To scale down the spice level we ordered sweet tomato chutney. It was so nice of them that they served steam rice as complementary because chicken taheri was too hot. I would suggest to the staff to explain the spice level of each dish before confirming the order or put some information in the menu card. Because there are differences in the spice level that one individual can tolerate. Thanks.

I visited Himur heysel on Last Saturday and the experience is simply awesome. Right from the start the hospitality and the personal touch is something to cherish . We ordered cheese prawn pakora & onion rings in starters . Both these dishes are sumptuous but i will like to highly recommend cheese prawn pakora . For main course we had dhakai morag polao with one piece chicken along with egg and we also ordered mutton kaala bhuna . Both the dishes are delicious but i will recommend morog polao as is less oily and rich . Then in the end we had burhani which is also a very good digestive drink everyone should have . All in all a very nice experience at one of the authentic bangladeshi cuisine in Kolkata .

Pleasant experience. Specialises on Bangladeshi dishes. The restaurant is small but well decorated amd arranged. Prices a bit higher but trust me it is worth it. Especially loved the Dhonepatya chatni and Bangladeshi chicken roast. A must visit restaurant if you are a Bengali cuisine lover. The best part was how she (the owner) made the experience homely for us. Time just passes when your experience is accompanied by her. All the best to her for future!

It's a nice restaurant with cool ambiance. Ordered kala bhuna mutton, mutton Tehri, Gondhoraj Ghol , Burhani and Dhakai Chicken Pakoda. I must say the food was way too spicy for my pallet and full of rich aroma with generous use of Chilli . I was there with a friend of mine and we are eating in several joints for a long long time, exploring the alleyways of foods. Honestly , this kind of food needs specific taste to grow. The owner Ms Sutapa explained her cuisines in detail to us. We talked about the tastes and methods of preparation. That was a good experience. People who like their food rich, this is the right place.

Located far away from city limits and a homely environment. Ambiance is best ( bangladeshi alpona). Food experience is unique that cannot be found anywhere else in Kolkata. The Owner takes care and has a personal touch with the guests. We were lucky to meet ADNAN FARUQUE. Price are premium Foods we tried : 1. Morog Pulao 2. Mutton Tehri 3. Daab er saash chingri 4. Mutton Kalabhuna 5. Chiken Piece roast 6. Mutton

Located near patuli more, a three storey house having a small cozy restaurant on the ground floor. This in house restaurant will definitely give you the homely vibe. And when i am saying homely vibe, you just cant ignore the host. A very decent and humble lady who will suggest you the best from their list. And the rest of the staffs also maintain her legacy. The interior portrays a "moddho bitto bangaliyana". Coming to food, the menu list justify the restaurants name. They serve bangali cuisine and age old recipes from both the Bengals. Food price is high but the food quality will not upset you. I went there along with 6 others. And we ordered (i might forgot the exact name)- 1. Prawn cheese pakora *2 (recommended) 2. Dhakai chicken pakora *2 3. Narkel posto bora *1 4. Daab malai chingri *1 (highly recommended) 5. Chingri bata *1 6. Steam rice *1 7. Morong pulao *1 (recommended) 8. Mutton tehari *2 (highly recommended) 6. Mutton kala bhuna *2 (would recommend one plate only as it is very oily and rich) 7. Gondhoraj ghol *6 (highly recommended) And our total bill was around 5600/-. An highly recommended restaurant for those who love to try out authentic Bangladeshi cuisine.

Nice one, different one. The idea of bringing Bangladeshi cuisines is unique. At the new address they are still shaping up as of April 2022. Price is definitely on higher side. Staffs were extremely nice. All in all good to visit :)
