★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a government property and is located at such a beautiful place is right next to the eco park. As for the property, it's very poorly maintained, we had taken a super deluxe room and the rooms though spacious was very poorly maintained.

The condition of the rooms were pathetic
Commode was without the toilet seat no proper blankets were there.
If you ask anything to arrange from staff they always deny you with different reasons.
Never visit this place if you don't want to spoil your vacation. Book some other hotels

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in deluxe rooms in old block. Rooms need complete renovation. Nothing was upto mark. Food was also not good. Intercom was not working. The location is excellent, hence Garwal Mandal should take initiative to upgrade it. Not advisable for stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not at a good living place. All thev4ooms are fully of damp and few have broken ceiling. Very unkempt rooms. The manager is having an attitude problem. TV don't work as they don’t recharge . They give u wet towels. The bedding aren't changed. No lifts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a budget hotel. Rooms are big but needs maintenance. Bathroom taps are broken, geyser works but it's panel was open which looks scary.
They have limited items on menu. Cleanliness is ok. Staff is very cooperative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs urgent repairs n renovation of the old wing. At least give a fresh coat to the rooms if budget is a constraint. Food is quality except Chinese. GMVN must train its chef for all items on menu, especially Chinese cuisine, which is bad in almost all its hotels. For its tariff, the hotel is a great value for money, has clean washrooms. Recommended for people who love less crowded places

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being GMVN property, the hotel has one of the best locations available in Dhanaulti. There's ample parking space, if you're driving.
The manager and staff is friendly and accomodating. I travelled with my family and stayed in the new building, which has relatively better maintained rooms and fixtures. However, wear & tear and absence of maintenance has started to show up in the new building too, which was inaugurated in 2013. While the furniture (bed, sofa, table, chair) are clean, good and sturdy, the fitting (door knobs, latches, locks etc) were broken or non-functional. The bedsheets, quilts, and towels were clean. Appliances were hit or a miss - geysers working, but the TV in one the rooms was not.
The food was decent, with the kitchen staff supportive. With full house however, they tend to struggle - so timely order with sufficient buffer time will help. Also, certain menu items require intimation in advance as the kitchen generally procure the ingredients on-demand.
Overall, if you can keep your expectations checked, this can be a good experience for you and your family
