To be honest it was really good restaurant at the start but since last 3-4 times it’s just not up to their standards. I ordered black gravy shev bhaji for parcel and they gave red gravy (which tastes like tomato pure which has lil chilli powder in it nothing more ) and the manager is so rude who never accept if anything wrong happens from their side they will blame it on anything or anyone else.

Location : Spice Stories @spicestoriespune . . . Its a nice small cozy place on the main Bibwewadi- Kondhwa road. The have indoor as well as outdoor seatings. They serve authentic Maharastrian (Khandeshi) and North Indian food made in kaala masala. "Kaala" means "black" in the Marathi language and this refers to both the colour of the final masala and the ingredients which it contains. Kaala masala is the originally born in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. . . . They make the masala themselves. Some of the main ingredients of kaala masala are cumin seeds, coriander seeds, clove, cinnamon sticks, kalpasi, coconut, sesame seeds and chillies. . . . Some of the dishes I tried Starters: Khiccha Churi Masala Khiccha Shevga fry Masala bhakari Main course: Shev bhaji (it is their speciality and is just amazing) Umbar handi Tadka pitala Lasooni Methi Wheat Phulka Bhakri (Jowar and Bajara) Marida is a must try dessert... It’s made by crushing bajara roti and is topped with ghee and gul (jaggery) . . . This place is a must try for the people who are fan of authentic spicy Maharashtrian food. Another plus point is that they have ample parking space for 2 and 4 wheeler. . . . This is certainly one of the must visit food joints that has come up in Market Yard Bibvewadi, Gangadham area. The authentic maharashtrian food served here is just too good. We tried Lasuni Methi, Aaloo mutter in black masala gravy, bhakari, taak and masala khichya and everything was brilliant. The service is also very prompt and the food is served with a lot of love. They will help you choose as per your liking. They have a small menu and also the seating place is less to the kind of food they serve and in a very short time they will need a much bigger place. A multiple time visit place for all.

Quality of a restaurant can be gauged by the passion of its owners. Stories of Tatas & Oberios, especially Mahendra Singh Oberoi are part of folklores in the industry. Sancheti couple, owners of Spice Stories might not be Tatas & Oberios yet, the passion with which they are invested in SS is second to none. It is distinctly visible with which they treat the customers & invest themselves in providing a delightful dining experience. Their signature "Kala Pav Bhaji" touches the right senses leaving one yearning for more. Made with unique Maharashtrian spices, the pav bhaji is homely and yet delicious. For spice lovers, they serve a "tikhat" thecha. As you convince yourself to stop hogging more, comes a steaming & aromatic Pulav which compels you to grab a couple of spoons inspite of your tummy protesting not to. A big ++ to the food & ambience. Look forward to see more Spice Stories dotting the map of Pune...

Shraavan ala re ala... Hunting for pure veg food? Something Maharashtrian? As tasty as homemade food? Then this is just the right place for you. This place is situated near gangadham, and is super pocket friendly. They make their masalas in their own kitchen and this is the reason that they serve real yummy food. Some of my favorites- Khichcha churi Masala bhakari Malida Umbar handi Shevga fry Shev bhaji Tadka pithala Lasooni methi
