★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good and courteous ticket vendor. Cost of parking is a little high though, 240/- for 2 hours which includes platform ticket for the driver and a passenger.

• Defence personnel (Lt.Gen & above) or equivalent in other organisations.
• Railways on duty.
• Any Govt. vehicle on official duty (any rank).
• District Judges and above.
• SP and above ranks of Police.
• Emergency vehicles.
For rest: Refer below picture.
Basically the free parking has been made available to those, who will never come to howrah station ?.
For rest:
₹ 240 (2 hrs) including one platform ticket. It is applicable for both: new and old platform parking.
Want to avoid high paid parking facility? Park your private vehicle in Paid Parking no. 1,2,3. Location of the same is just in front of howrah station (starting from old platform, goods carriage road, new platform).
In these three areas charges are ₹71 (2 hrs) without platform ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some instructions to note for car parking/entering the Old Cab Road are:-
▪️Ola/Ubers/Taxis are not allowed to enter here
▪️No person is allowed to enter the Old Cab Road/Station without a valid ticket or platform ticket, else will be penalized by the Railways
▪️For 4 wheelers, driver with one person is allowed to enter to either drop off or pickup passengers
▪️Chargers for 4wheelers - ₹240/2hour & platform tickets are also available for ₹10/person
The Howrah Station Car Parking is on the Old Cab Road of the Old Complex, just between the platform no. 8 & 9 of the Howrah Station. It is convenient for passengers about to board a train or for someone to pickup their known ones from the station aswell.
There is another car parking available at the new complex too, that is between platform no. 21 & 22.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to park is inside the railway station because 6-10 stations are adjacent to the parking. There is a lot of cleanliness in this place and the security is very tight. You couldn't leave the car without a token..
Personally i like Howrah station very much in every respect….
I always prefer parking cars here because no worries about Car and your vehicles…
There is a parking station in the very middle of Howrah station and this station is made for entry from the middle of the station.
One side intry and another side exit rules is there.
