Dr. Narayan Hulse is one of the kindest professionals I’ve ever met. From his excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what next steps look like, He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! He was very caring! He explained everything so I could understand. He told me all my options and helped me with everything, He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I never was made to wait. And if ever I needed to contact him or his staff, they were super speedy in responding by my inquiries. The office is inviting and his staff members are friendly and helpful in every way. Truly, I would recommend this medical office to anyone seeking answers to better their health and do so in a very personalized way.

It is with enormous gratitude I am writing this review. My father (67, year old) got both his knee replacements by Dr Narayan,4 months ago in Fortis Hospital. My father was in severe pain, and he was house bound before surgery. Currently, he is leading a normal life. No pain, he does all his activities, goes out for a walk for an hour. He is enjoying his new knees and new life. Pros: He is a very experienced surgeon with a great patient-centric attitude, humble and friendly. He has performed 11 knee replacements in my close friends and family group with all of them are successful and very happy. Fortis has good facilities and comfort. All important specialists like cardiologists are available 24 hours, in case of emergencies. Everything is done methodically (Automatic Conveyer belt !!). Attenders need not do anything. Cons: Crowded OPDs. He must be doing 100s of knee transpalants. You will have to wait for your turn. It is also because Dr Narayan spends time with patients. But I suppose any good doctor you see may have the same issues. The cost of Consultation is reasonably less for his level of experience but Surgical Packages may be more than smaller hospitals. But everything is given to you in writing before surgery and they adhere to it.

I wish to inform that I was operated for TKR for both knees by Dr Narayana Hulse on 17.4.2021 at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore. The operation has been successful and I am feeling much better now. Dr Hulse was very cordial, friendly and supportive at all stages of operation and post operative phases. He has been responding well and advising suitably to all my queries right from the day of my discharge from the hospital His way of approach towards patients like me are very helpful in confidence building and preparing us for the operation. He has been very kind, patient and cordial while advising me throughout the entire process. It has been a life changing event for me. Dr has done tkr for my mother for both legs. We are extremely happy. This is our journey of 3 months. My mother has knee pain from past 20 years. She stopped sitting on floor around 8 years back. She has developed best healthy habits in last 10 years. Inspite of managing well her pain is increasing only. Last year December, her pain went so high that every day mrng she takes 20 mins to getup. We visited one orthopedic and he suggested tkr. We visited one more doctor and suggestion is same. Now, we had a difficult situation to make because we have 2 months old daughter and my mother is the main person to take care of household stuff. But finally we decided to go ahead and started searching for doctor. One of my frnd suggested Dr husle and we took an appointment. After she entered room, dr immediately told my mother is suffering from severe pain. He explained neatly about whole process. I am generally scared about any medical procedure and i asked one question to dr, "any risk with operation?" . He immediately told, "1% risk is there. Do you want to take risk or life long suffer?" . That opened my eyes and immediately decided to go for surgery. With omricon looming at that time i decide to go early and planned all my leaves etc. Dr with his enormous experience told clearly as my mother is healthy and lean, he will do for both legs on single day and that is the best thing. She does not require to suffer pain two times. After 3 hours of successful surgery, dr met and gave clear update that it went well. He tried to speak in telugu with my mother to comfort her before and after surgery. My mother luckily did not require blood and also only spinal anaesthesia required. Only thing is hers is soft bone so dr had to take precautions. Dr clearly told, first 15 days heavy dose pain killers, after that light dose pain killers for around 1-2 months. He never gave false promises before. Dr also uses implants which are number 1 in world. Now, after successful surgery, my mother felt so much pain after anaesthesia power gone which is around 3rd day. After one week only she went to bathroom alone using walker but obviously with difficulty. After two weeks with ease. After one month stopped using walker. After two months 50% house hold stuff.Now she is preparing paratha as well for 6 people at around 3rd month. We are absolutely satisfied with dr. No nonsense, no false promises, patiently explains. Only negative is you dont get appointment easily. But, comeon when is something is precious you have to wait. One final word, Dr Narayan Husle right now is my mother god. Her life dr had changed completely. Ps: If someone says you can walk/run in one day/one week, it is bakwas. Any less cut is bakwas. Think logically and rake wise decision. Dont fall into marketing traps.

My mother (79) underwent knee replacement surgery at fortis last month. One of our close friends referred us to Dr Hulse. While we were expecting the surgery to be a big ordeal- the surgery and post operative period went like a breeze. In the first consultation doctor patiently explained the whole process, helped with an early slot for the procedure (mother wanted to return to native at the earliest!). Understand the procedure followed by him is state of art - as mother never had any pain during the immediate days after the surgery. He was regular with his rounds (even during weekend), would spend time to hear my mother / appreciate her efforts with the planned exercises We have recently completed the final review and looks all good. My Parents are undergone knee replacement surgery & the surgery was done by our great Dr Narayan Hulse. Mother had both knee replacement(Nov 2013 & Nov 2017)& father had one knee replacement(Nov 2015). Parents are very much happy after the surgery & the treatment was awesome not able to express in words. Now parents are doing their regular activities without any issue. This is an opportunity to say a big thank to Dr Narayan Hulse. Allready I have recommended to my friends & relatives about this surgery.
